I've heard mines quite ideal as well, 8"x5.5", but I've got this monster curve, so I think that has more to do with it than size.

I am 7 x 6 Happy with my girth but could use half an inch more in length. Mine also point horizontal 90 degrees to my body, when I prefer ones that stand to attention a bit more.. like 45 degrees..

I like pelvic to pelvic contact, so I'm not a huge fan of too long. I think thick is better, but the only woman I've ever personally discussed penis size with was in my early twenties with my best friend at the time and she indicated that she thought her husband's was just too thick for her.

So it's different for everyone, I guess.
