Just wondering if any guys have done a Body Electric course, or similar tantric type course? What was it like? I'm looking to do one in Sydney, Australia later this year, but don't want to end up in some big gang bang. Not that I'm averse to the idea, but on this occasion I'm just looking to learn more about my sexuality as a man and to use the skills too connect with my partner to add to our sexual repertoire.

Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It's for men only (gay/straight/undecided), and I believe it actually started in the US. There are apparently other groups that will include women, but my understanding of The Body Electric is that it's for men only.

I'm one week post my first ever Body Electric course, which was held outside the Goad Coast. What an amazing experience! Sixteen guys in total - most of whom I think were gay but it wasn't actually an issue that came up. Some of the rituals were a little peculiar and there was a strong "group therapy" vibe but once I got over that I found it a very rewarding and enriching experience. It has really brought me much more in contact with my sexuality and has greatly enhanced my perception of myself as a sexual being. I'd strongly recommend!
There's more info at this link Celebrating the Body Erotic which is on the American site or here Body Electric Inc. Australia and New Zealand for the Australian site.

You sound quite a genuine fellow, willing to explore your mind and body and how the two can at times not agree. I'm wondering though, after viewing your link regarding The Body Erotic, what interpretations could be placed.

Could you elaborate vibrationzzz? I don't quite understand the comment.

Just that one of the links you provided, it seemed to me that the fellows in it did not have much trouble 'identifying' with themselves. I was mildly turned on to be honest. When the guy was chatting through the vid I am sure in the background the guys were being given penis massages. Maybe I'm wrong and it is part of the class. Yet to me, it's not all about sexual energy. Emotional blocks come from other things than that. By the way, I be a very spiritual being. To me, when one or many as a group focus too much on the sexual side of things, we have not evolved much at all.

It's very Freud type thinking.

Thanks for clarifying - Unfortunately the video gives the wrong message or only part of the message, as emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical well being are all seen as being important. BE recognises we have many different parts to us, but our erotic self is often ignored, and many men are not aware of their erotic selves. For me this helped me overcome a sense of shame about my sexual desires, about pleasuring myself but also helped develop my sense of myself as a man. Everyone I spoke to afterwards got similar but different things out of the course, but what seemed universal was an appreciation for being in a very supportive environment with other men.

And thanks for your earlier compliments as well.
