The Bone Pressed Vs. Non-bone Pressed Debate Is About The Question, Not The Method

I know this is an old and tired discussion, but why the huge debate? The whole point of measuring your dick with the question of “am I big or not” comes down to comparing yourself to other men.

I think the fundamental disagreement comes down to what the actual question you’re asking is. Guys arguing in favor of BP are clearly asking how they compare to other guys on a scientific level, whereas guys in favor of NBP are asking how they compare to other men on a functional level.

Both are fair questions, but you just need to make be clear what you are asking before you disagree with someone over which method is best.

With science in mind, we have actual studies that give the average size as about 5.5” bone pressed. So if you have 7” BP, doesn’t matter if it’s 5.5” or 6.5” non-bone pressed, because it is ultimately 1.5” longer than the average based on those studies.

With function in mind, most NBP studies show about 5” is average, meaning the average fat pad is around 0.5” or so. Mostly this just tells you how fat you are compared to other men, which does functionally matter if you are overweight enough.

A rose by any other name smells just as sweet, and a dick measured BP or NBP is still the same dick. Just be clear what you’re talking about first.

Great topic, still.

Very, very few studies measure erect length at all let alone non bone pressed. I just wonder why more people don’t measure flaccid stretched like 95% of penile length studies do?

All that matters is everyone measures the same to be on a leveled playing field.

Unfortunately there are people who are very very adamant on never counting BP. Some call it cheating. Others call it desperate. Personally, I use BP because i want to know how big my dick is not how big it looks. See, I am obese, so naturally I have a very large fatpad. What I want to know is how big my dick is beneath the fatpad. But Some people say I can't use BP at all and must use my NBP. This causes an odd situation. See, I can still lose weight and I can still press on the pad to reveal more size. But showing pics pressing the fat away and saying a size 2-3 inches smaller than that is asinine.

I usually distinguish by saying what my size is BP but for the people who say BP doesnt count nor even exist (??) I ask them what size should I answer with if someone asks my size and they never can answer me. =/

Also, bone pressed allows for room in error. How many times have you measured yourself erect and have gotten a slightly different number each time?

Measuring flaccid is pointless because it varies wildly (especially due to temperature). Some days I’m harder than others by 1/4 inch or so.

I always love the claim that BP is cheating, because that tells you that the other person isn’t concerned with the science of it, they just care about how impressed their partner will be when looking at it. It’s a fair concern, but it still comes back to my original point that people who argue over method are really just arguing over the question being asked.

Flaccid stretched doesn’t equal erect length in all cases. Just like nbpel doesn’t equal usable length.

Here you come out of nowhere, commenting on everything I say. I never said flaccid stretched = erect! In fact, I have constantly mentioned this on many threads. My flaccid stretched and erect are different by .5 inches. You really go out of your way for no reason. Also, studies mention that there is a difference. What’s your purpose?

Well, most of women prefer the NBP method for unknown reasons. Anyway, mine's 7.5 inches/19 cm fully erect BPEL length with 5.1 inches/13 cm circumference cock

Bone pressed always, it cuts out the uncertainty. If you’re pounding a sweet hole you’re using your whole length, it’s not going to be a 6” looker when youve actually got an 8” cock. Some guys have a little more timber.

I'd say neither is cheating, BP does have a use as you already pointed out. For an erect penis it is the usable length as the fat pad gets pushed in during sex.

But personally I do not see the point in measuring a flaccid penis BP, as there the measurement defines what it looks like if I was standing next to other men. But this is just my personal opinion, as long as everyone is clear about what kind of measurement he uses, it is perfectly fair.
