Any player could have done this, catfish or no - that's just game strategy
Yes…but the comment I was replying to used Nathan as an example of catfishes having to be loyal, which is not true in his relationship to Bru.
Catfishes have to be loyal and trustworthy to get to the finale, as anyone else. Take Nathan/Alex who has a solid relationship with Yu Ling. He has been rating her highly, resulting in her influencer status and thus his protection…

So…you’re just…contradicting yourself, basically.
No, I'm not ???? And I feel like you're just being dense lol.

Nathan COULD have played it cool with Bru if it were good for his game. Him being a catfish had literally nothing to do with him deciding to tank Bru's rating to survive. Also, those ratings were private and didn't affect his reputation with other players since it was the second to last rating of the season. If Bru stayed in the game and someone else got lowest rating, he would never know that Nathan had rated him poorly. Catfish have to maintain their relationships just like anyone else. Being a catfish doesn't change the winning strategy of building and maintaining relationships/loyalty. How hard is that to understand?

You maybe should choose your words better. You keep saying they “have” to be loyal or “have” to maintain their relationships. They don’t. No one does. You keep saying they have to keep them, but also say they can switch it as needed (like anybody else).

No spoilers but Nathan/Alex was looking real tasty in his finale suit. Love that chest hair poking out the top :heart_eyes:
It's just a shame the rest of the cast acted like Alex was the grossest human being on earth. It was really unpleasant how they were like "OMG I was flirting with THAT?"

I was hoping that it was more an age difference thing, because earlier she was like something to the effect of, “I hope Nathan isn’t really a 45 year-old man,” but still…

Yeah, I didn’t like that. He’s not my type but he’s definitely not horrible by any stretch. In fact, the only one who defended him was our man Frank.
