My foreskin is about two inches long, flaccid the girth around my foreskin is 5.5 inches or a little more. This is about eleven square inches of skin, when its forward it protects my glans and keeps it warm, when back it adds to girth and I can have it either way. It also weighs a few ounces so the cumulative effect over a lifetime of hanging probably adds to length a fraction. My foreskin is also very "veiny" so the blood present at any one time in my penis is slightly more than any guy who is cut. All these are clear advantages.
To my mind, since I can have my foreskin either forward or back in any situation its like having your cake and eating it too.

Why do you want to know who voted which way? That's a sure way to help ensure a non-random sample. The poll here was anonymous.
I don't follow your logic. Could you explain?
I don't want a random sample, I want people to have their opinion. Why would anyone need to be anonymous over this question?
I prefer my poll. It's very simple.
for clarification. i am cut and like mine that way. have had relations with both cut and uncut and while i prefer uncut, have had many an enjoyable time with uncut. to each his (or her) own.

The point about a poll is that it generates statistics. Otherwise you could just ask people to write their opinions.
If you make it more or less likely for anyone to take part for any reason that has to do with how they answer, you throw in an element that will change the statistics.
It's not whether they need to, but whether they want to. Why anyone might want to, I can't tell you, but circumcision status and whether or not they like it is a sensitive issue for some men. (Try asking the next man you meet on the street...)
Apart from the "don't know" option, its no simpler than the previous one.

He says he's cut :smile:. I think it only becomes sensitive when people want to argue about it. This poll isn't about an argument, it's simply about how people feel about their individual condition.
Do you think the results are valid at this stage, in terms of representing how men feel generally?
