The coolest thing since both sliced bread and spaghetti.

I'm near broke with minimal variety in what food I have to choose from. So... Spaghetti Sammich! On garlic-buttered toast with jalapeno slices... it was surprisingly awesome.
What combinations have you come up with at such times?

Leftover alfredo sauce from a jar, spaghetti, and a can of tuna. It was sort of like a gourmet, tuna noodle casserole.

Why move if you don't have savings to last you a few months?

Egg and turkey-slice w/cheese sandwhiches. Fucking AWESOME. It tastes like McDonald's but isn't as bad for you.

Grilled Cheese with Hot Sauce.

Cereal with Water. It's great if you don't like crunchy cereal. :p

Rice with BBQ sauce since it was the only liquid topping in the house.

Can't think of what else I've done but money is tight again now, so a new creation is probably in the midst. :p

I haven't done grilled cheese with hot sauce, but I always put jalapenos on mine.
I used to have a roommate who put bbq sauce on everything, because he thought it made the food more masculine... including rice.

ramien noodles...I think they are still cheap. The salt content might kill you, but they fill you up.

totinos pizza (or at least that is what they call it)...cheap, tastes a little like cardboard but in a tight pinch...

Nutella on an Eggo waffle. Not exactly bargain basement but it was pretty much all I had at the time.

In grad school I lived on pasta with various forms of red sauce, PB&J, and omelets. I could usually get kielbasi cheaper than bacon or ham so I would cut that up and cook it with diced onions and green pepper before adding it to the omelet along with American cheese.
