I had a simular experience years ago when I made mistake a few times wearing some tight pants.

I don't know how many other guys had to deal with this...but I was probably faced with the most difficult possible situation in which to hide a bulge.

I was a swimmer in high school.

This was back before I actually realized how big I was, and didn't think much of the fact that it was glaringly obvious from the way my suit showed it that I was bigger than the other guys (I tended to not look very much inside the locker room). However we did practice WITH the girls team, and I did eventually notice quite a few stares and glances.

It was particularly tough because the suits that they provided us didn't really fit right...competition suits are designed to sort of pinch down and compress, so I had to practice in suits I bought myself, and on more than one occasion racing I was treated to some very uncomfortable situations. Such as one of my balls getting pulled to the wrong side and pinched down while I was swimming a 500 yard race (20 laps).

After freshman year I began to notice the stares more and got over it. I couldn't really do anything about it so I let it slide...I guess it was something to be proud of. It didn't become really obvious that other people noticed until I found out that the girls swim team had a nickname for me (we wore little red speedos for competition), they all called me "Big Red" amongst themselves.

Once in my senior year after winning a race I was walking back to the bench and was treated to several of the girls cheering and singing "So kiss a little longer, make it last a little longer..."

Auncut10in: You think speedos were a problem, you should have been on the wrestling team. Those singlets are designed to show everything. And wrestling with other guys is a lot worse than swimming next to them. I used to get teased all the time in the showers, and grabbed when I had them in a position they couldn't get out of. Obvious yeah but so was everything else and at least it was somewhat compressed. Now I wear it under baggy shorts and it makes a pretty good combo.

The worst at work was wearing Chinese cut pants at work. I wear a 30-34 and can't really find them here, so I picked up several pair in Hong Kong. The Chinese are skinny but mind you they have no butts and the front of their pants are cut really flat. (from experience of the pants seems like not much there either.) I was noticing that they were shrinking but still decided to wear them to work one day with boxers. It was on the way to break when I realized how much they had really shrank and how detailed my pant leg was. The next day a memo was sent around about the dress code. The last sentence was not to wear pants that you could see your body parts through. I was pretty sure my I knew who my supervisor was referring to. After that I wore them a few times with support and that at least created a less defined bulge. But tightness does not help. I can't imagine how anyone can stand to wear wranglers. And I even sit with my legs crossed.
