I think maybe their is more than one issue here. One, is the jock! and Two, the cup. Starting with the jock, thirty years ago jock straps were not fitted for the male anatomy. The waste bands were so wide, they folded in half and very uncomfortable. They never provided much support. The fit was always too loose. I remember going around the first turn on the track, having everything fall out. Bunching to one side and behind my nuts. A few more strides, one of the buckstraps between my
legs go's tight in my crack. At the end of the race. Even before knowing my results, I'm digging that frickin strap out of my ass and in pain. With a rope like burn between my legs, and the very top below my ass on one leg. The wound ozes, and stings with sweat. My simple solution back then was simply not wear anything. It's very obvious when not wearing one. Your package bounces wildly up and down every time theighs start pumping. When running pray yur nuts don't push your shorts out of the way and become exposed. Track shorts in the 70's were very short and split up the sides.
Wearing a cup along with a jock was missery. When playing football, it was nessary. In addition to the problems with the jock, the cup added the chaffing around the perimiter of your man junk. And when you run, the cup lifts and floats, not good. It also feels like you have the football jammed inbetween your legs.
About 15 years ago I dicovered the fit and feel of jock straps had changed, for the the much much better. The straps on this, "what I call, the new generation" fit snug and stay put. The pouch, pulls tight witout discomfort, and does provide support. lifting up and out. The fabric steaches like a second skin molds to my form. I love em! I feel they are the second best thing I wear every day. The first is the thong, made for men. More about that in another post!
