    wow you called us out.

we admit what Fox is, unlike you and your brethren who remain silent as CBS, NBC, NPR, and CNN are all in bed with the DNC.

A biased news source. Just like all the others.

Honestly, I watch Fox sometimes (the news coverage, not the talk anchors), because the spin is so easy to spot that it's just as easy to unravel.

Fox, though they mght deny it, is unabashedly consistently biased and they know it. What I can't stand is when a news source tries its best to actually pretend the bias doesn't exist.

Rupert is a genius , he runs his tv net just like all his tabloid newspapers, catering to the lowest common denominator. Just because he now owns the Wall Street Journal does not mean he is still not a gutter journalist.

Calling Murdoch a journalist is like calling Bill Gates a programmer.

They don't have to. Anyone with a brain, such as yourself, can see the bias a mile away. At the same time, Faux claims to be "fair & balanced" while CNN claims to have "No Bias, No Bull". So why should anyone be asking for either network to admit fault?

The same way conservatives want CNN to "admit" they're biased is the exact same way liberals want Faux to admit they're biased as well. And neither side is ever going to budge, because both cater to the lowest common denominator of their social demographics even though you will occasionally get something that is actually newsworthy from either station. I would rather get the news briefs from our own networks, yet seek actual "unbiased social commentary" on these stories from a neutral news source overseas that may not be jaded towards the whole "Democrat vs. Republican", "Liberal vs. Conservative", "Hatfield vs. McCoy" rhetoric.

The subject of how much is genetic and how much is nurture regarding a person's IQ was a topic at lunch today. Every other Thursday I meet with a small group of people who, like me, live lives as expats from their native countries. Most speak English. All speak Spanish (or a decipherable dialect of Castellano and not Rioplatense).

Seems there was an article in today's New York Times that noted the average IQ score of an 'Mericuhn is double of what the average 'Mericuhn score was in 1917, which means the majority of our 'Mericuhn ancestors would be regarded as "mentally challenged" by today's standards. It appears that intelligence is not so much an inherited trait as it is something that is cultivated. This prompted an amusing couple from California who both work down here for Rio Tinto to volunteer, "Then our kids are going to be fucking geniuses, because FOX Network News isn't available outside the USA!"

Even the usual dour "Buenos Aires Bob" who has been pickling himself daily since McCain and Palin lost the election laughed heartily and long (possibly a bit too long).

This prompted me to actually look at Nick's prick in his gallery. I'm not one to equate a person with their naughty bits, therefore, it's more accurate that he is Nick with the very nice prick.

Although I'm certain I could find some common ground with the other Nick, I tend to identify him as Nick666 because his gallery contains samples of the Jack-booted Tom of Finland's erotica, which (if you're familiar with the late Tom's ouvre) quite often bends a bit too far on the erotica meter to the leather-Nazi-sex-boy-toy. That does not mean, however, that I think Nick666 is in any way a Nazi.

You do realize calling someone "the prick" on a forum about big dicks will only increase visits to his Picture Gallery and add to his already deliciously, handsome mystique?

    Bow down to... "THE PRICK".
Sounds very tempting to me! :biggrin1:

So, there are over 300,000,000 people in the USA and FOX TROT NEWS gets 3,390,000 to tune in -- if only to channel surf for a moment -- from the hours of 8:00 to 11:00 PM?

I'm sceeered, man. Really, really, sceered!

    Addendum:
Call me when the numbers reach 10 million and the PTA starts goose-stepping down main street.
