I went with friends to a new restaurant. I knew Ellen from my dentist's office and her husband, Mike, had a successful accounting firm. The place was new to me but I had heard good things about it, so I was excited to try the place. When the three of us walked in I noticed that a girl I knew from my bank named Jill, was bartending. I said a friendly hello to her and we sat down at a table just a few feet from the smallish bar which only sat about 10 people. The restaurant itself was about half full and our waitress came over to take our drink orders. We looked over the menu and by the time she came back we were ready to order. Dinner was great and we enjoyed good conversation with each other. As we sat waiting for the plates to be cleared I looked over at the bar and noticed this guy sitting there. He had a baseball cap on backwards but I could tell he was handsome, mid-20’s and you could see that he had a hot body. Once I noticed him it was hard not to stare, he was just that hot, but I didn’t want my friends to notice so I did my best. He seemed to be chatting up the bartender
After we got the check and paid we got up and put our coats on. Not to be rude, I walked over to chat with Jill, who asked how dinner was and suddenly the hot guy turned to me and asked what I had. When I told him he said he hadn’t tried that yet and asked if I liked it. I was so surprised that he was talking to me I found myself at a loss for words, but managed to croak out “it was great”. He held out his hand and introduced himself to me, “Hey, I’m Aaron.” I introduced myself to him and shook his hand, which was large and his grip was firm. I shook his hand firmly and he smiled and seemed to hold my hand for a beat longer than usual, but that was just wishful thinking on my part.
Fortunately before I looked like an idiot my friends said it was nice meeting him and we left. But just as I was turning to walk away I put my hand on his shoulder and gave a little squeeze saying, “Nice meeting you.” When I got home that night I couldn’t get him out of my head and had to give myself some relief.
That Thursday I was in the bank making a deposit and Jill was working. When she saw me she said hello and asked if I had enjoyed myself the other night, to which I said that we all did. She asked me, “Do you remember the guy sitting at the bar when you left?” I replied, “Yes. I think he said his name was Aaron. You two seemed to be hitting it off pretty well.” She smiled and said, “Well, sort of.” Confused I asked what she meant. “He gave me the third degree about how I knew you, where you lived, where you were from, and lots of other questions.”
“Was he jealous?” I asked, thinking maybe he wanted to know what Jill’s and my relationship was. “No,” she smiled, “he was interested in you, not me.” It was all I could do not to grab her and hug her. “Well, that’s a surprise,” I said, trying not to show my elation. “Do you think you’ll see him again?” I asked. “Definitely,” she answered, “he lives 5 minutes away and has made the restaurant his go-to place.”
I was trying to figure out a subtle way to find out when he goes there when Jill said, “If you give me your number I can text you the next time he’s there. That way you can come over and make It look like coincidence that you were both there.” Again, I could have hugged her, but I grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down my number. Honestly my hands were shaking!
A couple of days later about 6:30 in the evening I was getting ready to make dinner when my text alert sounded. I picked up my phone and saw two words: “He’s here”. Without missing a beat I ran to go change my shirt, brush my teeth and grabbed my car keys. I knew it would take me 10 minutes to get to the restaurant and didn’t want to waste any time. I made it there in 7 minutes, thankfully not getting a speeding ticket in the process.
I walked into the restaurant as casually as I could and there was Aaron at the bar just like last time. Jill called out a friendly hello to me and he turned to look to see who was arriving. “Hey!” he said when he saw me. “Fancy meeting you here!” Again he reached out that large hand and once again we exchanged firm handshakes. I’m sure I was smiling like a hyena and said, “Yeah, I was going to make dinner but thought I’d treat myself to a dinner out.”
“Did you eat yet?” I asked. “As a matter of fact I haven’t” was his eager reply. “If you’d like to join me you’re welcome to.” He almost jumped off of his barstool saying ‘I’d love to!” We found a table by the window and sat down. As he already had a drink the waitress took my order and gave us menus. As I pretended to look the menu over I stole a glance at Aaron only to find that he was doing the same.
Drinks in hand and dinner ordered we toasted, “To new friends”. During dinner we learned about each other: where we were from, family, where we went to school, what we did, and more. We found we had some things in common, but the biggest difference between us was that I was openly gay and he wasn’t. I wasn’t sure what to make of that, but listened as he told me that since he grew up in the area he still had family and friends around. “I’m just not ready to cross that bridge,” he said with a shy smile.
We got the check and put our coats on. As we walked past the bar Jill called out, “have a great night guys.” Aaron visibly blushed, which I found cute. We walked to our cars. He drove a white pickup truck and I was parked a few down from his. Stopping at the back of the truck he looked at me and said, “I’m glad I ran into you tonight.” “Me too,” I said, not wanting to tell him how I actually came to be there.
I took half a step closer to him. I could smell his cologne and hear his breath speeding up. I leaned in and he suddenly jerked back. “What are you doing?!” he hissed, “Somebody might see!” “Aaron, there’s nobody around to see us. Look.” He turned around and saw that what I said was true. When he turned back I again leaned in. This time our lips met. Aaron was tentative at first and I kissed him gently. He kissed me back very timidly. I looked him deep in the eyes and went in for another kiss, pressing my lips a little harder against his. He let out a soft moan and I reached my hand up to his chest, feeling his taught pecs under his sweater. Finally he leaned in to me much more insistent and I could feel his tongue poking my lips, so I opened my mouth and our tongues swirled around each other.
A groan from deep inside his chest let me know that he wanted this as much as I did.
“While I would kill to take you home and have sex with you all night, I’d much rather say goodnight and hope to be able to see you again, “ I whispered. He seemed to be lost in a fog, but when he came out of it he simply said, “Yeah. I’d like that a lot.” We stepped away from each other and I couldn’t help but admire the prominent bulge in his pants. After exchanging numbers we gave each other a quick kiss and went our separate ways.
When I got in my car I leaned my head back and heard his truck start up and leave the parking lot. As my erection subsided I could feel a large patch of wetness from my precum in my underwear. I definitely was going to need relief when I got home!
