I have always gotten rid of it, from the mombent I discovered it. Just use a razor every day, and it is pretty easy... BTW, I have found that constant, everyday shaving from since I got it, has kind of stopped production, and the glands are going away... hmm...

yikes, put the Nair down and step away from the counter....good ole razor works but just be thorough and don't leave stray hairs, ingrown hairs back there can be a real pain, use plenty of warm water and a good shaving cream...might want to ask a buddy to help out. Good luck.

Been there done that several times. While the initial pain can be intense. The hair is gone for about 4 weeks. It also leaves the butt very smooth. Give it a try if you really don't want to be bothered with the butt hair.:tongue:

Im a fairly hairy guy by genetics, so I can relate.

I generally use a dry razor. I just take my time, go slow, and I come out clean. Get in a position either in the tub or on the bed with a towel to catch the hair. Get comfortable and start shaving, being careful you dont nick any sensitive parts, like your anus.
I've never had any cuts, ingrown hair issues or pimples, but everybodys skin is different.

I'd stay away from the lotions/potions. They may compound the ingrown hair issue. Good ol soap and water always helped me after I shaved to clean and condition the skin.

Wax may be another one, but I think I would have trouble going into a wax place saying "Can you wax my butt? Oh, and watch my hole, its sensitive"

Like it has been said before, waxing is painful for only a second. And with the use of a new product: which is actually a "cool touch wax" (the wax rolls on vs the old applying with a wooden tongue depresser). The pain is even less and process is quick!

Waxing is great too for triming up around the front bikini area so you don't have "shrubs" sticking out on each side of your briefs or swim suits.

Wax is the way! Clean and smooth for weeks with out razor stubble.
