The Homophones Game!

    No, I didn't make a spelling mistake - I mean homophones!

    A homophone is a word that sounds like another (but is spelt differently, its not just a word with more than one meaning)

    eg: night - knight

    See if you can come up with one, one per person. Til we run out!

    So far tonight me and my aunt and uncle (this was my cousin's homework) have come up with 105. Technically we have more since we listed triple homophones together.

    They pronounced exactly the same here.

    warrantee-warranty (a bit of cheat, I'll admit, but they have different meanings and are pronounced the same, so it works)

    You have to think without your accent. My auntie was saying this like ear - here (we don't pronounce our h's here) :rolleyes:...which technically wasn't correct.
