Has anyone else read The Hunger Games? I know it's a YA book, but I LOVE it. I just IMBD'd it - and it turns out the love of my life, Liam Hemsworth, is playing Gale, and I couldn't be more excited.

Except, I don't want to wait until 2012 to see the movie.


Any thoughts on the book ?

I finished the first book and started the second last night. This is the busiest weekend for me and I'm so frustrated bc all I want to do is read! lol

I'm going to my nephew's 5th bday party today and you bet your bippy I loaded the second book onto my iPhone lol.

I didn't really have anyone in mind for Peeta or Gale, but mmm Liam.

Excellent film! Now to read the books, lol.

Only thing I noticed is... we're condemning a corrupt society that gets pleasure and entertainment from watching young ppl get killed. But... at least 50% of the book's interest is based on what happens during the games and who gets killed.

So... condemn and indulge at the same time? Bit hypocritical, no?

Having said that - I liked Katniss, and Peeta was cute.
