The Lincoln Project did a great job in turning out many Republicans to vote for Biden, and presumably a lot of fence-sitting Democrats and independent voters as well, right up to the last minute on November 3rd,
(see video below). But, in my mind, they are still a Republican organization, and therefore, I am skeptical of their true long-run intent.
Now that the presidential election is settled, I will trust the intent of
TLP a lot more, if they now focus their money and creativity on the crucial January 5th run-off for Georgia's two seats in the Senate. Without winning them both, Mitch McConnell and other Trump loyalist Republicans will still be in control of the Senate, and they will just continue to be obstructionists to progress in this nation.
If The Lincoln Project puts their money where their mouths are, and backs-up
"firebrand" Rev. Raphael Warnock, against the
1% "darling", insider-trading, Republican Senate appointee,
Kelly Loeffler, and newcomer
Jon Ossoff, against one term do-nothing, fellow insider-trading, Republican
David Perdue,
then they will have my deepest respect.
In Georgia Senate runoffs, the focus — and the fire — is on Raphael Warnock

"If Warnock and Ossoff both win, they would knot the upper house at 50 seats for each party, with the tie-breaking vote belonging to Democratic Vice President Kamala D. Harris once she takes office on Jan. 20. The success of the Ossoff-Warnock pairing will determine whether Joe Biden’s administration is able to enact an ambitious agenda or whether Republicans can blunt Democratic power."
How the attack ads in Georgia’s Senate runoff races are shaping up

"Whichever party wins both Georgia Senate runoff races will have done so because it successfully motivated more of its voters to come to the polls again in January. And that means doubling down on partisan attacks against the other side."

Senate Ethics Panel Drops Insider Trading Probe Into Kelly Loeffler
As of September 5, 2018, there have been
1,974 members of the United States Senate, but
only ten have been African American. I may be naïve about
"Deep South" politics, but, it appalls me that Georgia, and several other southern states have never been represented by an African American Senator in the 20th or 21st Centuries.
