WRT this idea about how "hands up don't shoot" "never happened" not with standing more than one EYE WITNESS we really do not know that was the case.

The supposed "proof" the Fox news universe and the rest of right wants to hold onto for dear life was that the medical report stated that there was no "physical evidence" that it happened which is another way of saying that the undersides of his arms that would have been exposed had he had his "hands up" had no entry wounds.

That was ALL that had ever said.

But that in no way proves he did not have his hands up it just means that the bullets that were fired at him when/if he had his hands up either missed altogether and we know for a fact some and if a recall correctly most of the rounds fired did in fact miss or were otherwise not accounted for or hit him in the torso.

Pure crap all the way, Breitbart. Appealing to fear and ignorance, and to the lowest common denominator.
I respect many exponents of conservative views, but Breitbart is placing a bet on the worst of the human animal.

They most certainly are. And as shown in an NBC Nightly News clip I posted above (REAL news, btw) it is Breitbart's intent to spread their SICK and twisted message throughout EUROPE. And imo, one would have to BE sick and twisted to actually believe some of this stuff, Make no mistake, you'd HAVE to have a certain mentality, a propensity for certain thoughts and beliefs, to even BE susceptible to this kind of b.s.

Take the bullshit story of a Hillary backed sex ring being run from the basement of a pizza place. ABSOLUTELY moronic.

There was a piece in tonight's NBC News about a guy who admits to making up fake news. And yes, they interview him right on the air, admitting to making up fake news, and worse still, for PROFIT. See:

http://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/what-s-giving-rise-to-all-the-fake-news-830044739556

Yet there are assholes out there ready to believe him above a mainstream media source. Why? Because they've been convinced that it's the mainstream media doing all of the lying.

Frankly, I believe people who knowingly, completely and DELIBERATELY fabricate fake news should be either LOCKED UP or subject to SOME kind of litigation. I'm not talking about editorials, or news with a particular slant, perspective, or spin.

I'm talking absolute FABRICATION... especially if done for profit. Then again, that's nothing new. I've ALWAYS felt that way... even about fake celebrity tabloid stories.

I agree 100 percent. This problem seems to be cresting now, and if nothing is done, it can only get worse.
You can't have a democracy if the Fifth Estate becomes ridden with lies and distortions.

Please tell me what Folks in Power are spreading Fake News. Most of it comes from Macedonia. The average wage on Macedonia is 4,800 dollars. Generators of fake news on Macedonia can make up to 60,000 dollars a year.

This whole thing is just hilarious. Bottom line: Hillary wins the popular vote but the country is divided and half of the masses are looking for HUGE change but unfortunately they are ignorant of actual facts and don't know how politics or the economy really work, so they vote for some 'Messiah' (btw it's history repeating itself. Read about Germany in the 1930s). The US is continually getting more and more divided and in case you didn't know it, the US is headed towards its second Civil War. A nation as divided as this cannot survive at this rate.

As I recall you do not believe in conspiracy theories
How do YOU know CBS is REAL NEWS?
I watched an interview on TV with a purveyor of fake news from Macedonia. You see, reporters can fly around the world to gather real information. 15107373_1164941496930195_3835328409209287600_n.jpg

Dimitri says he's earned at least $60,000 in the past six months — far outstripping his parents' income and transforming his prospects in a town where the average annual wage is $4,800. He is one of the more successful fake news pushers in the area.

His main source of cash? Supporters of America's president-elect.

"Nothing can beat Trump's supporters when it comes to social media engagement," he says. "So that's why we stick with Trump."

It's hilarious in a sad way. The US has really been on a decline since the mid to late 1980s if you study history and know the declines of previous "empires". This election is really par for the course. The sad thing is that this is leading a straight path to a divided nation much like it was just prior to the Civil War, and a lightning rod like Donnie Trump (he hates that nickname btw) only quickens the descent down that path.

I agree with all you say. I'm just having a harder time finding the humor in it. Maybe, if things get bad enough, I'll *have* to laugh to keep from crying. :(

I agree the country is divided and the problems have been going on for a long time and have been fed by BOTH major parties and their enablers in the mainstream press. No question, Hillary represented the status quo and was a seriously flawed candidate as well. People who say otherwise are kidding themselves.

I have 0% doubt things would have gotten worse with her as POTUS. Trump is more of a wild card, definitely representing a different direction in some ways. Civil War? I don't think so. If for instance, California wanted to secede, I doubt anyone would join an army raised to keep them in the union. It's not like they are actually going anywhere.

How would things have "gotten worse" under Clinton. How are things going to "get Better" under Trump? It's a 2 part question.

Hillary has shown amazingly poor judgement numerous times. One example: She wanted to establish a "no fly zone" over Syria. The Russians are there legally and by invitation and wouldn't take kindly to such an imposition over them by us, a country not invited by the Syrian government. They are a nuclear power as well. So what happens when Russia flies over Syria? Hillary is a hardline warhawk based on her past behavior. All pundits seem to agree on that assessment. Would war with Russia be in our interests, especially over Syria? I suspect Trump is smarter than that. Hillary, I'm afraid is not.

As to better off with Trump. From an economic standpoint, it's no contest. She was for admittedly higher taxes, and destruction of domestic energy (apart from "green" type energy). She admitted she wanted to destroy the coal industry. Obama's administrations have seriously increased federal regulations on businesses across the nation and they are business killers and she vowed to continue that. Trump wants to markedly decrease taxes and thus bring in money parked outside the nation as well as foreign investments. It's already working.

why presume an army would need to be raised...the US army would defend the union......

"The legality of seceding is problematic," Eric McDaniel, associate professor of government at the University of Texas at Austin, told The Texas Tribune in June, at the height of Brexit hysteria. "The Civil War played a very big role in establishing the power of the federal government and cementing that the federal government has the final say in these issues."

Do you believe American servicemen would fire upon Californians to forcibly keep them in? I think the mentalities have changed markedly in the last 150 years and besides that, plenty of Americans would be happy to see California become its own legal entity. For one thing, without their electoral votes, the Democratic party would be crippled for national elections.
