Mainstream, commercial media began being compromised when it was used by governments for propaganda purposes. It became worse when multi millionaire media magnates discovered they could twist and sway public opinion doing the same thing governments did. They learned well.

Once upon a time quotation marks represented what was said by a source. Now they have all but disappeared, replaced by editing and journalist opinion. This is apparent if you read a newspaper from yesteryear, compared to now. Quotations are few and far between these days, media interpretation has taken the place of the factual. It has even invaded public broadcasting, it is a battle for young journos to resist public or editorial appetite.

Governments used and extensively fed lies to the media before the Iraq invasion. Why? Because the media was hungry for sensationalism, which would improve circulation. This was proved in an in depth inquiry. Those who fed these lies were exposed. To this day and forever more will not be held accountable.

I am a retired teacher and retired youth director at a church. The hurt, the anger that is still there as I think of some wonderful former students who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service in Iraq. I felt honored to play for the funerals. That doesn't take away the pain. It only deepens it as I know just how much I loved my students and youth in church and how much i was loved and respected.

People who can't feel this kind of emotion most likely do not have real true love for those that they are around. I'm refereeing to parental type of love which is even deeper than love for a friend.

When I was hurt badly and was in the hospital for several weeks, one of those boys who gave his life in service to his country came and sat in my room for I'm not sure how long as I was in and out. I see his face. I do not hate George Bush, but I do hate the kind of behavior of lying knowing that several thousand Americans would die and for what.

No matter how well a structure is built. It can have the best structure ever known to man. But if it is based on a lie, it will at some point collapse.

I would love to have a million dollar house to live in with people hired to manage it. However, I would not sacrifice the lives of people so I can prosper financially. Greed is one of the worst sins humans can possess. It leads to people killing each other.

It is tragic that the media would rather make a little more money than to tell the truth and as a result loose some of its profits.

Those that do that in the media have blood on their hands and there is no way to get it off.

Somehow media gets forgets to ask the words "Why, where is the proof" and I'm always uncomfortable when a politician uses the words, "it's a matter of national interests". I just wish they would clarify just whose interests, instead of blanketing it under "national".

Hillary chose to use a non-encrypted server that hackers could easily hack into, it could have been anyone, what proof is there that it was the Russians, please provide it.

The hacking of emails was done on the server of Clinton's long time chief of staff or whatever title she had. George Bush had a private server. He had everything in his server physically destroyed as he left office.

I have not read where anyone hacked Hillary's private server. After turning them over to the FBI, some were released to the public by someone who didn't have the authority to do so.

Why is it that Hillary is so crooked because she used a private server while Donald Trump ran a scam and stole millions of dollars from people who thought there were paying for an education.

Yep, 25 million Trump gets to pay in an out of court agreement. Trump didn't want this to go to a public trial.

If we are going to harp on Clinton's failings, lets not forget that Trump was worse. There is no evidence that Hillary sexually assaulted people. Trump did it. He admitted it. We all heard it from his own mouth.

Meh, let them continue to do the very thing that, in part, cost them the election. It's as if they still believe we don't see their bias and dishonesty. All this is doing is creating proper alternative news outlets that offer the truth. The mainstream media is committing social suicide.

This morning on the news, after their race baiting and pinning every ill in the world on Trump's win, they were all upset that Trump and his family went out dinner without informing the press. The mainstream media labeled it, get this, a sign of a "lack of transparency" in the Trump administration. The hyperbole and spin has begun folks.

First off, he doesn't owe the press a fucking thing after they conspired against him the entire election. But more importantly he hasn't even been sworn in yet and they're already attacking him for wanting to spend a moment alone with his family? Da fuck?

Anyone with even a moderate level of intelligence knows the press is a fucking partisan joke in this country. They've lost all credibility and are now struggling in the light of being so wrong about the election and their hand in failing to influence the American people on voting for a corrupt globalist elite who was in the back pocket of Wall Street, banks, and foreign interests. Honestly, they look like complete baffoons who are increasingly being put on ignore by a fully aware and non compliant citizenry that stands firmly on the Right.

Obviously the media you read and heard is not the media that I read and heard. There was one report that the media gave more minutes of free air time than it did to all the other candidates, Democratic or Republican, combined. That observation was sometime during the summer. I'm not sure if the conventions had been held yet.

CNN gave Trump so much free coverage that it was blatantly obvious. CNN did provide professionals who were Clinton supporters as well as professionals who were Trump supporters. The debates could get quite heated at times.
