Because "they" all think that Russia will ALWAYS be tipping the scales in their direction so they do not care.

IMO this is the real heart of the matter when it comes to Trump, his campaign and people in "his orbit" when it comes to "Russia helping" Don did not see it any different than John Gotti "helping him out with the unions" or some "mobbed up" supplier when he was building Trump Tower or some other project in NYC way back when when he did actually build or "renovate" buildings. I am sure his "attitude" was "well he was/is just trying to help me, what am I supposed to do say no ??"

The House Intelligence Committee voted unanimously on Monday to make public a classified Democratic memorandum rebutting Republican claims that the F.B.I. and the Justice Department had abused their powers to wiretap a former Trump campaign official, setting up a possible clash with President Trump.

The vote gives Mr. Trump five days to review the Democratic memo and determine whether he will try to block its release. A decision to stop it could lead to an ugly standoff between the president, his top law enforcement and intelligence advisers and Democrats on Capitol Hill.

Mr. Trump vocally supported the release of the Republicans’ memo last week, declassifying its contents on Friday over the objections of Democrats and his own F.B.I., which issued a rare public statement to warn that it had “grave concerns” about the memo’s accuracy. On Saturday, he claimed, incorrectly, that the memo “totally vindicates” him in the continuing investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

Now this could be interesting - first Trump is going to have to read and understand what's been written - or maybe Sarah will explain with the aid of pictures!
Then he's got to make a decision....
Mind you he could refuse, it could go for debate and voted on overturning the presidents decision to withhold...

He’ll block it. Having the moral compass of an enabled and indulged sociopath, he is without respect for the citizens of the United States, the laws of this country, and the institutions that guide it. In his arrogance, he will thwart Mueller and also the Supreme Court should a subpoena become necessary. The Republican Congress, under Ryan’s leadership, has sold out the country to be unconscionably complicit in obstruction of justice to protect Trump. Trump will have to be forcibly removed to be tried and convicted, along with anyone that aided him. The corruption, lies, and betrayal of the the citizens of the United States run deep. This country deserved better from elected officials placed in office to serve the people, not their own interests.

well, the five days is up and no signs of the rebuttal memo being published...
Mind you Trump is really pissed off that they all agreed a budget and he' got to decide if he;s got to sign it off.
I mean he wanted there to be a shut down so he could indulge in even more name calling, now there's an agreement his fun is spoiled, so, look out for a tiny signature and not a childish one full of big flourishes
actually its the only thing he does in joined up writing!
