The provenance is rather sketchy. It is allegedly from a porn movie called "Red Sand", which was made in Australia. Some people have claimed it isn't Hugh at all, but in an interview on The Actor's Studio on the Bravo network, he seemingly acknowledged that he had done some porn under assumed names early in his career.

If you go to google and enter

"Hugh Jackman" "Red Sand"

...then you can read page after page of heated debate discussing whether or not it is Hugh.

The nude pic really doesn't look like him to me. The face is shaped differently. I could be wrong though.
