I just got drowned! Twice. I went to the post office (<100 yards away) and then the bank (<200 yards away). Its fuckin bad. I hate global warming...in my day... :tongue:

And I have to go back to the post office at some point today :redface:

Anyone else in the UK not like the tropical weather?

If we're going to be tropical when are we going to get some steamy hot weather?

I don't like the constant rain, I hate umbrellas so if it's raining and I have to go out I know I'm going to get soaked through.

You need a good old fashioned Tropical Storm to slowly move over NC.

Tropical storm is what I meant. I went back to the post office when it stopped raining. I'm staying in now. I have no hood on any of my coats either...*sigh*

I did see a guy with a Royal Bank of Scotland umbrella today though. Wonders never cease :tongue:

I was stuck in Strattford-Upon-Avon several years ago in a similar rain storm that flooded a big part of that area.

Actually, I was there for over two weeks that time and I can't remember it not raining. It must have been early November.

Hmm maybe its worse there (is that quite far north...my geography sux)...we didn't get floods here so this is our turn for the bad weather :tongue:
