1:40 into the clip and he derides a 33% tax burden, government overspending, unbalanced budgets and raising the debt ceiling...

all of which he did as president leaving the country $200b in debt in 1988.

Reagan and his neo-con cronies (actually he was their crony) began the very economic policies that have brought us to the horrifying position we are in today.

Unforfunately, all forms of government spiralled downhill after the crooked flood gates were opened.

Now it's just a free for all. Both parties pointing the finger, but nobody really looking to fix it.

The Repubs took the bank, and the Dem's don't know what to do with whats left.

    for now? yes, because

    a) it's 30 minutes and I'm busy at work
    b) it's Ronald Reagan and he has nothing much to say of value.

The perfect example how the two sides don't listen to one another.

If Reagan had to run on his record today, the Republicans would purge him for being a liberal.

He signed three major tax increases, turned tail and ran when the Marines were ambushed in Lebanon, granted amnesty to illegal aliens, ran up huge deficits, secretly traded arms for hostages with Islamic terrorists in Iran and tried to abolish all nuclear weapons, including America's.

All those things in context make a world of difference.
