Or better yet, let&#39;s all check out the topic called "Lurkers" where we are discussing how so many new people to LPSG never post because they are afraid of being attacked for their writing/spelling.

As an English teacher myself, I certainly notice lots of language errors in a day on signs or articles or wherever, but attacking someone or ridiculing them for posting a comment on the boards with an error in it will only serve to squelch their opinion and reduce the number of voices that we get to hear. I, for one, want to hear from as many people as possible who are willing to share. And I want to support and encourage that sharing. As long as I can understand what&#39;s being communicated, I&#39;m cool.

Yeah, we are discussing the use and misuse of the apostrophe in that topic, but we&#39;re not trying to embarrass or attack anyone.

OK, maybe we&#39;re attacking Paris Hilton, but she deserves it. :lol:
