"The O.Z."

Did anyone watch Part One of SciFi's "The O.Z.", their reimagining of "The Wizard of Oz"? Sometimes redoing something in a new light works (see "Battlestar Galactica"); sometimes it doesn't (don't see the recent version of "Stepford Wives"). But worth watching "The O.Z." for though is seeing the actor playing Tin Man Cain. They have him dressed in one of the tightest pair of pants on SciFi and in one scene, where he's knocked to the ground during a fight, the camera shows a nice bulge.

I love that! When Allan Cumming first says "the O.Z." I almost shat myself.

Anyway, although it would be funny to actually name the show "the O.Z." I think it would become a tedious mockery of every socal based television show and thusly lose the feeling that it has initially tried to convey (a surrealist version of the Wizard of Oz.)

Tinman is a much better title...since isn't the show mostly about the Tin man anyway?

Yes, Neal McDonough is one hot humpy daddy. I recall seeing him in other series/movies and thinking he was hot, but the Tin Man series really caught my, um, eye.

Wish there were more pics available of this hot man. Oh well, thank goodness for Tivo, I made sure not to delete after last night. I only wish that Comcrap cable would make SciFi channel available in HD, though between the hunk on Stargate Atlantis and Tin Man, it would probably increase my wash bill for the sheets alone.

Another hottie in this mini-series is Callum Keith Rennie (playing the character Zero). According to IMDB he is 47, born in England, raised in Canada and currently resides in Vancouver, BC. Noticeably absent was any information on a spouse or children. However, I did not do a web search, and IMDB is often absent vital info for actors who have played mostly supporting characters. Attached are a couple of caps from a movie he did, no frontal unfortunately.
