Naturally, Soaring Spirit, it will depend from person to person, but on the average, based on all the people I know, men tend to age better.
I suppose that depends on what you mean by better.
As a very broad generalisation, it seems to me that the decline for women starts around the menopause and then proceeds at a very slow but steady pace from then on. For men, the decline starts later but happens faster.
So, for example, a woman can have obvious health issues in her sixties but still make it into her nineties while a man may appear to be in perfect health at 75 and be dead by 85.
As well as general health there is also the hormonal situation.
