Wonderland is a great film. Good acting by Val Kilmer and especially incredbile acting by Lisa Kudrow. And Josh Lucas is... well... adorable. It really gives a good account of what was happening in his life and especially during the Wonderland times. Worth a rental!

To everyone who is interested?...From what i've seen it looks as though John Holmes made Gay Movies. Both at the start of his career and towards the end of his career.
Check out "The Private Pleasures of John Holmes" DVD. There's actually two John Holmes Movies on the disc (one is 'hidden'). And for some reason, a regular run-of-the-mill gay movie has also been included. With No connection to "J.H." whatsoever.
The short 'hidden' film entitled "Classic Shower Scene" comes with a 1972 date. And I'm not sure why (Legal reasons?), but the Sex is simulated.
I dont know when "J.H" started his Porn Career. But in this Film John Holmes is relatively 'fresh-faced', and appears at ease with what he was doing.
Compare this to the main feature "The Private Pleasures of John Holmes". Which looks like it was made towards the end of his career. And you'll notice a very different "J.H". I think his face tells the story.
All in all if You like John Holmes get this DVD.
I made a comment in an earlier reply regarding a short clip from another John Holmes Movie. The Film is actually entitled "POOL FILM". I found the clip on a great DVD from "Buckshot". The Feature on this disc has nothing else to do with John Holmes. But stars a good-looking straight8 kind of Guy whose name I cant remember. The Film is called "The Crotch Watcher". Probably made in the 1980's.
