How did your one night stand happen? What was the guy doing that gave you feeling you wanted to be them that night?

So maybe I'm just older than most people here and remember when there was no internet porn or sexting to keep you warm at night, but I've had my fair share of one night stands, although I haven't had one since I was in grad school. The combination of too much free alcohol and hormones was probably all that was needed. I also had an amazing menage a quatre one night stand, and can't really imagine that would have happened as part of a long-term relationship.

The reason my one night stands were that and not a relationship is because there was something the matter. It's not as if I went looking for only one night.

By the time I am serious (or desperate) enough for sex, I would seriously like to continue because sex is a great investment of a very important and sensitive part of myself.

I had a little trouble understanding the point of the OP's question, 'what was it about the person', for this reason. There were in my youth many one nights because it was a time of learning. I had to learn what it was about, all right, and also what it was not about.
