I haven't tried this "method", and probably won't. I don't think my girlfriend would let me either.

Well, start pulling out your  face when a girl tells you that she is pregnant. Start pulling out your wallet and your checkbook when Maury Povich says "YOU ARE INDEED THE FATHER!!!"

Okay. I'll bite.

For about 3 years, I used the pullout method when having sex. You could say I was being a wreckless whore, and to a degree you'd probably be right. The one time that it did NOT work for me, however, (waves to my son) was when the guy said he'd pull out and didn't. But I'd never been pregnant before that, despite 3 years of pulling out, which equates to... hundreds and hundreds of sexual encounters. (I spent most of that time in monogamous relationships.) So for me, personally, it worked out rather well. But running the risk of a guy not pulling out in time, or at all, probably isn't worth it.

I have pulled out basically throughout all of my long term relationships and several one night stands... I haven't used a condom much in my life I must admit.

I have never gotten anyone pregnant that I know of! lol!!!! Just kidding, the pull out method has always worked for me, but maybe there is something wrong with my sperm? I dunno.

I have always been under the impression that pre-cum doesn't contain any real swimming sperm.

When I was younger and stupid, an ex-GF convinced me of this, pretty much quoting the same. In the 2 years we were together, it worked. BUT... she had a condition and she wouldnt menstrate regularly anyway.

Since then, she has been married and has had a child.
So, does it work? Maybe, but its too risky and I got lucky.

That pull out method is asking for 18 years of headaches.

In my case it's effective contraception because if I know a guy's planning to pull out before he cums it's a contra-intercourse as well. I hate that.

Anything in the literature about pulling out before the transfer of STDs?

i suspect this ''research'' was faked/warped by someone big on catholicism.

there can be sperm in pre-cum. fact.

Fact: Only if it's there from a previous ejaculation. Precum does NOT contain sperm.

Researchers find no sperm in pre-ejaculate fluid. [Contracept Technol Update. 1993] - PubMed Result
SpringerLink - Journal Article

If the urethra is used to evacuate urine in between ejaculation and sex, there is literally 0% chance there is any sperm in the urethra, and thus, if pulling out is ACTUALLY performed, it would be just as effective as a condom.
