I read somewhere 100 years ago that Donna Summer doesn't think too much for gay people even though they made her richer than God?????????

Its funny you should mention her name. I was allways a big fan of her music. I have been getting out all my old records lately and playing them. My wife knew of a few of her songs and thats it. It was a bit before her time. Now she has fallen in love with her wonderful music. I think the whole disco period had a light hearted and positive nature that is lacking in music today.

I saw Donna in concert at Wolf Trap in Virginia in 2006 and she put on a FABULOUS show!!! Her voice never sounded better or stronger and she could still hold those loooooooong notes like she could on her records.

She sang all her classic hits and a few new songs and even brought her Grandkids up on stage to help her sing a few songs toward the end...it was really sweet!

I have always been in love with Donna. I used to pull out my Mom's "Bad Girls" album and just fucking drool with fascination at the women dressed as hookers... ahhh... the golden age of spandex!!!! "Love Is In Control" is my favorite Donna song!

I saw Summers in concert at the Saenger - here in New Orleans. Had several albums of hers including I Remember Yesterday, Once Upon a Time, and Bad Girls.

That was the time of discos (you know - before everyone decided that discos suck and to never admit to ever having set foot in one). Of course, they don't have "discos" anymore, heaven forbid. No, they're "dance clubs".
