On my "nerves"? Dude, you have no idea what amusement I take from such rank ignorance.

Every time I read silly s**t like what's been posted here, it serves as verification of racist ideology that masquerades at rationale, as well as vindication of my own perspectives on it.

I agree but its also kind of a learning experience.

A man in need of giggles, though it wouldn't be the first time I've been called a jackass.

Maybe we're not so different, you and I

Note: since I just saw your edit, you didn't step on my toes, due to no inferiority complex...but tell yourself whatever makes you feel better.

Not in it for the giggles. I'm in it for the clarification...

You don't force a group of people to the bottom of the barrel, then climb up on a high horse or soap box to complain about, demean, and berate the behavior they exhibit in the volatile environment you systematically placed them in.... THEN USE that behavior as an excuse to manufacture the "consent" of the people to KEEP those "violent thugs and hooligans" in their cages...or "homes" as many of you have take to calling impoverished areas.

May be a joke for you, you third party spectator, but it's life for my people....nothing for me to "giggle" at...

Do you know how many of the twelve million Africans who were shipped and survived the journey to the New World as slaves up to 1866 went to or ended up in the thirteen Colonies and later the US?

Why don't you tell us... and to save a unnecessary extra couple posts, go on to tell us how the answer connects the dots in your mind to the dots in the discussion.

450,000 or 3.75%.

28,000,000 were sold into slavery into the Arab world. Some historians estimate that up to 80% of the men sent here were castrated. This is disputed.

There remain small African communities in Turkey and India.

The history of slavery is mind boggling. As I said before some estimate that 75% of the world's population lived in slavery or serfdom at the beginning of the 19th Century.

Whilst I am sure that some cultures looked at their foreign slaves as inferior, I don't think that we get the racism until Mr. Jefferson. If you want to know where the institutionalisation of racism comes from in the US. Here he is. President Jefferson thought that Africans were an inferior species, inferior in every way that he thought important. Didn't stop him from taking sex from an African slave woman though.

Wouldn't those figures be skewed by the large numbers of serfs living in Russia, India and China?

Oooooooooooo you WILL be scolded by the protestors of such claims.

Institutional racism....?!

Preposterous... Poppycock even!!!

Watch, I don't even have to say any names....they'll speak for themselves. Or maybe you've silenced the ignorance....we'll see.

Well maybe. My points are that you shouldn't exaggerate the relative suffering of your own group possibly at the expense of recognising other people throughout history. And my Russian friend would do well to remember the many atrocities against humanity by his motherland, which hos family chose to leave I presume. Circassia is a particularly nasty case of genocide.

However, the racism of Jefferson is more than that of a victor in war taking people as the spoils, or the perceived necessity and need for slave labour. He brought racism to a level of justified natural order based upon his own presumption of superiority and he was able to write this into the Virginia constitution whilst writing that all men are equal (unless they're Negroes) in the Federal constitution.

Beyond this I would make the point that since the 60's we all hope that institutional racism is being legally taken out. I am sure that this will take time and the neo nazi type white supremacists are the real descendants of the slavery supporting racists of the past, rather than everyday people who may or may not hold to some prejudices.

I do think that people play the race card when they think they need to or that it will serve them well. Almost everyone today wants to excuse everything through their own victimhood status, real, imagined or largely historic. Time will tell. If you overdo it though, you do run the risk of being seen to cry wolf.

Please note that I am talking from a largely UK and Asian angle. I don't have any first hand experience of this in the US.

Indeed it is, mi amigo.

Mostly we learn about the "company" we find ourselves in.

And that's
usually more that what they intended.

Yup and knowledge is power. :biggrin1: Thats why information, facts, history, the real name of things, people's personal history, media outlets, statistics, assistance programs, how many of this and that, fiscal this, wages that, science and all sorts of things are always being attacked.

Change the knowledge. Change the information. Change the facts. Change all of that and people will believe 2+2 = 5.

All of a sudden words mean completely different things so people will feel uncomfortable with them. All of a sudden one person is responsible for everything. Suddenly all people can feel is one single solitary emotion. Suddenly people just want it all to stop. Suddenly the ones needing help are the ones that put themselves there. Or should i say, sit doggy. Stand doggy. Roll over doggy. Stick out your tongue. And now...bark.

It's really fascinating. And the best part. They all think these are independent thoughts. ha

Gotta say though. Technology seems to have put a real damper on things. People can talk to each other from around the world. The only thing left. Is the connection. Not on climate change though, or at least not only. But a connection on the idea that wait wait...maybe people of many different walks of life are using the same tactics to screw over people all over the world.

Change the knowledge. Change the information. Change the facts. Change all of that and people will believe 2+2 = 5.

I've never been able to figure out the reward you get from acting in such a contemptible manner.

Dude, why not simply take my post for its contents, and respond if you so desire to said content.

Or, you know, just do you, and spin my stated amusement of such useless "debate" into how I get a good giggle and the plight of blacks.

Storm would be proud of such tactics :)

Yet another glaring reason why you fail to get the substantive debate you claim to seek.

Stop intentionally misrepresenting the views of those you don't see eye to eye with. That, along with the consistent rudeness directed at said dissenters, is extraordinarily childish.

For that, Popyu would be proud. You're ticking all the boxes today my friend!

Thanks man. I like for my tone to convey a sort of "fuck your bullshit and how you feel, this is the truth...bitch" attitude. With a dash of "...if you don't like it, get the fuck over it....bitch..." for theatrics. No dog whistle politics from THIS guy....lol

As far as how YOU feel about what I say and how I say it.... if you haven't gathered by now, I couldn't possibly give any less of a fuck. So constantly rambling about how you dislike my conversational style and tacics is just wasting LPSG post and server space. But hey, it's a free country (for the most part).... so if it makes you happy....carry on. Just don't expect me to adjust anything I do to comfort you...or any of you reading this for that matter.

When the mods ask me to chill, I will... Until then, pull your skirt(s) down and quit bitching.
