Fact was, I was having problems with quote function so had to copy and paste the quote to a word processor program (adding the necessary bracketed information for proper formatting). Somewhere in the process the word must have been corrected.

Besides, the tos ACTUALLY speaks of changing quotes for the purposes of deliberately misleading or changing the context of the quote. I did neither,

and hardly like I'm coming here to post all kinds of absurdities as FACT without so much as a SINGLE reference or link.

His comments, all in all, a rather desperate tactic, imo. Guess that's about all they've got left.
