Anybody else watch this show?


The second season premiered tonight on Bravo and I'm watching it right now. There are at least two cute guys that I'm interested in:

Shane Keough, son of one of the 'housewives.'

and

Slade Smiley, boyfriend of one of the 'housewives.'

I'm not really looking for pics, but if anybody has any others to share, that'd be great! I looked on Google Images for those ones, and not many others came up. I know that during the last season they showed one of Slade Smiley's semi-nude modeling pics, but I couldn't find any of those. An interesting note, that website where I found his pic described him as a douchebag, and I must say I agree with that description!:biggrin1: He is cute though and he has a nice ass! Shane Keough however I think of as a nice enough young man! He's a virgin for God's sake!:tongue: Despite being totally hot!

I did not see the episode tonight but, I did see sneak peak episode that went over the new season. I think it came on on Saturday. Even though I know that 99.99% of all reality shows are staged, I still get sucked in that is why I try to avoid them,I say try because I can't avoid them. Slade is a douche bag. That is why they put him in the show. He is most likely not that big of a douche bag but the bigger the douche bag the bigger the ratings. Am I going to watch ?Fuck-yes with hot MILFS and young men in tight or no clothes it should be good.

He's gay....I'm almost 100% positive and I don't even know him....



I don't care for Slade. There is something creepy about him. He should have stayed with Lauri but he is determined to have a young lady on his arm to impress the public...lol

Jo's just not into him, if she was she wouldn't act the way she does.

My wife and I could care less about the gay aspect of the show. What we love as residents of Newport Beach, are the distorted perceptions of Orange County that you get from all these (The OC, Laguna Beach, etc.) television programs. Three of these wives were written up in the Orange County Register and are way less dramatic in real life- example Lauri Waring is a hard working insurance broker and now engaged to a man they apparently don't mention on the show. Last month, Lauri was at a huge party down at the Montage in Laguna before Christmas with her new fiance.

If you watch the show in Podunk or Cleveland, you'd think all of Orange County is Newport, Laguna and Coto de Casa where a lot of this show is shot. Go up into areas of Santa Ana and one would think they are in Tijuana, Mexico and the same demographics extend inland to areas like La Habra. In places like Stanton and "Garbage Grove" there are very few chic alfresco dining areas overlooking the blue waters of the Pacific where the housewives can ruminate over relationships or whether to go for Botox injections. There are Jiffy Lube and Big O tire stores but no trendy fashion boutiques.

Folks, much of Orange County goes through life facing the same problems as the rest of the planet.

Yeah, Shane may be gay, but I don't really think so. I usually don't fall all over gay guys like I do straight guys, so that's why I'm not sure.:biggrin::tongue: He has a great body though, and that scene on the beach last night was great. Now, Lauri's son on the other hand is SO gay!:biggrin: He looks cuter with his hair short though! Slade does it for me, but I really do get irritated by him, and I agree he does have a bizarre way to him. On last season, I remember being totally creeped out by him in one particular episode. I'm sure a lot of it is staging, or playing it up for the cameras too. One thing I hate about reality TV is that it is so not real! Really, the only good thing about shows like this is when they have cute guys!:biggrin:

Hey, yeah, TiVo'd be great. I wish I had it! I recorded all of last season's episodes to DVD, and it was a bitch having to sit there and pause during all the commercials!:biggrin:

I watched that show and got really bored with it, the guys you are writing about seem to be bigger girls than their repective wives/girlfriend/mothers. Even if they were gay, I wouldn't do them. They're higher maintenance than the women they hang with...and that's saying a lot.

LOL, I'm with you. I watched a bit of this program and wondered since when do women like men who have more products in their bathrooms then they did. While I know a lot of men are getting into taking care of themselves, but I try not to date men who obsess over skin care products -- unless they use the same brands I do, then maybe, but only cause it will make my overnight bag lighter.

The more this season progressed, the more I found myself strangely attracted to both Vicki's husband and son, and to Lauri's fiancee.:biggrin: LOL, Vicki's son is mortified whenever she's around and it was funny to see him squirm. He has no neck (poor little guy), but I think he's just adorable. Donn, her husband, is just a nice guy, and I'm often attracted to older and balding guys. With Lauri's fiancee, I think it's just the fact that he wears his shirts nearly half-unbuttoned (I find that so sexy). His eyes are also quite nice. I don't know.. I hope they come back for another season!

Totally agree! He acts like he needs someone to change his diapers. What a turn off, let alone the attitude that he thinks he is just so special. He's hopeless, right down to all the boy toys: big watches, the Hummer, etc. Just too hopeless.

The new season of the Real Housewives premiered tonight. They have a new housewife to replace Jo. And, like with Vicki, I'm attracted to both her son and her husband. I was kinda bugged by her in the commercials for this new season. In them she proclaims "I'm the hottest housewife in Orange County" but I was glad that she doesn't seem to be the way the commercials portrayed her to be. Overall, it looks like this will be a good season. I'm glad that the show still has the same feeling even with this latest change in cast.
