I know that we are few and far between but the claims of 10x7 seem a little FAR stretched. The quarter and ruler thread kind of slowed some of these claims down. A legit 7 inches of dick is big. Not pressed or taped or camera tricks. Seems the 10-11 inchers are really 8-9 and the 8-9 are 6-7 and others are 5-6. Thats still big considering if 5.25 is average they prob add the same as some on here do. So do you think the quoted size is 2 shy of reality, even on the average ones.

and some of the girth claims of 7-8 are crazy. i have seen some fat ones but none as big as a coke can. A big one is a big one no matter what someone claims the size is.

I only stretch the truth a little bit in describing my cock dimensions as 8x6. It is a true 6 inches in girth at the base, but mid shaft or at the glans it's only 5-3/4. The only way to measure its length as 8 inches is the way a size-queen lady friend of mine once did. She whipped out her sewing tape and measured it from the pubic bone along the right side (the longest dimension as I have a slight curve to the left) clear to the piss slit and came up with 8-1/16 inches. But a true straight line (ruler) measurement barely yields 7-3/4 inches. I have no compunction, however, in using the 8x6 figure because it seems virtually all men stretch the truth on the subject.

I've played with hundreds of dicks over the years and can honestly count on the fingers of one hand the number that were larger than mine. When finding a new playmate over the 'net I'll always quote the 8x6 dimension and supply honest pictures of my dick. I would say that the main problem is that the guys who say they are between 7 - 8.5 post legit pictures here.... and the guys between 5.25 - 6.25 girth post legit pictures....but quite often people post these outlandish figures here and without pics to even give an estimate. What is legit? I mean, some days I am harder than others and my dick seems longer. Arousal levels vary and effect size. I have my, "on a good day, I measure..."

The bone press figure is good for stats, but you may be giving yourself an extra unseen 1/2 inch. So, does body fat percentage effect size. And, the penis length actually continues inside the body. So now there is true size, (bone pressed), and visual size, (measure only what you can see.) I think you mean visual size, (a term I just made up), because if you are careless and gain 10-20 pounds in weight/ fat, you lose 1/2 inch of visual size. Did the penis shrink? No, its the same size, it just does not look as big.

A lot of people measure differently too.

Some people measure with the bone pressed in. This is different for everyone. Some can gain an inch this way, some only a half inch, and some only a corner.

Some measure along the side. A lot of people do this, especially here, and this is why I think you get some outlandish measurements. This will nab you AT LEAST a .5 inch/half in then what you really are. Not just that, but so many kids and just normal people measure like this. Not calling us guys not normal, but clearly we're in to measuring or have just overall been exposed to measuring via the internet. But the other guys, the guys who aren't into the whole internet or measure constantly...probably only measure every now and then and do it by the side.

And guess what? This is what causes people's minds to be boggled with how some can't understand how the average is only between 5-6. I mean, have you EVER spoken to someone with a penis length between 5-6? I haven't. I'm only 19 though, and straight, so I don't see them...and people my age would never admit it.

But I'm sad to be the one to tell you this, but, if you measure around 6-6.5 inches by measuring on the side...unfortunately it looks like you only have a 5-6 inch penis. But don't fret, because this is average. this is the real average. 6.5 is in a way average because this is how a lot of people measure.

You are supposed to start at the base and measure along the top. I'm sorry, but this will usually dash your measurements, and then you'll understand how the average is 5-6.


Some people measure while sitting down. This is also a no-no. But in fact, A LOT of people measure this way...A LOT. This is the only way I measured when I was younger. Sitting down...usually along the side. Side or not, sitting down will usually yield you a different measure. I don't know how it happens, but once you stand up it seems like a bit of your penis just disapears...and you end up losing about half an inch or so. Sometimes less. Sometimes only a .25 inch, but definitely something.

Here's the hum dinger ---- SOME people measure while sitting down AND a long the side. I was guilty of doing this when I was younger, thinking I had a bigger one when I didn't. My picture doesn't really reflect it, it's a terrible picture...but I'm at about 7.25 x 5.75 measuring the absolute clearest way (measuring a long the top, not pushing in, standing up, etc). Even so...maybe I somehow without knowing cheat myself...because I'm sure if I walk into a clinic and was measured for a study I would somehow end up yielding a little less). But man, when I was younger I think I measured something similar in length...but I would be sitting and it would be along the side so in retrospect it was probably only 6.25 or 6 on the dot.

The other thing that sucks for me, and again, my picture really doesn't reflect it...is I swear to God I am like 6.25 almost 6.5 at the base but only 5.75 around the mid (when I am super aroused), and only like 5 inches at the head. I have a really small head. Like, it sucks because I'm really thick at the bottom but I don't know if it even matters because being big at the head would make it more convenient and easier to be felt.

like, the thing that sucks is a regular condom rolls down fine to start, obviously...and fine for most of the way but always rolls back up at the base because it just won't stay down or rap around. Bone pressed seems like cheating to me, but in order to have constant and comparable measurements, that is how I measure.

The ruler length really applies to straight (no pun) cocks.

I tend to measure using a tape from where my cock starts, (looking down), to the tip.

I seem to vary between 8 and 8.5 depending on my arousal level. I've never measured the circumference.
