Exit polls showed Corzine's unfavorable rating was 54% among voters. Christie's was 48%. The least hated man won.

60% said Obama was not a factor in their vote. 19% said Obama was a factor and they voted for Corzine.

A whopping 19% said their vote for Christie was based in part to express opposition to Obama.

Just as a general comment, it's really tiring wading through pissing matches from people who think the world can be defined based on nothing but their belief. Present some data, history, facts maybe? But pounding the table doesn't inherently make you more credible.

Sounds like an 81% approval rating for Obama.:biggrin1:

As far as 2012 goes, the Republicans needs to get back North Carolina, Virginia, and Indiana. They need to increase their win in Missouri by 10,000 votes. If that can be done, they'll be in excellent position to win come 2016.

I'm a bit curious as to how the redistribution of electoral votes after the 2010 census will affect the 2012 election (if at all).

Bush didn't push anything similar to Obama and the Democrat's Agenda in the middle of a recession so bad Obama was calling it a depression, he wasn't taking over the American industry, bailing out banks and companies too big to fail or staging a government take over of 1/6th of the economy in the form of health care reform.

The recent elections, the townhalls, the tea parties and the polls are telling the Democrats that their agenda and spending is out of whack and it will be bad for Democrats in 2010.

Why, no, he wasn't - Bush was far too busy FUCKING EVERYTHING UP.

Pelosi and the Democratically controlled Congress held the purse strings. Pelosi and the Democratically controlled Congress went along with the Wars. Pelosi, the Democrats and the former Sen. Obama now President Obama can't cast blame like they had nothing to do with it.

Ignoring the economy and spending money we don't have on healthcare reform that won't make anyone's healthcare better is far more egregious than Bush's errors because Obama and the Democrats were put in power to put this country on the right track - not send this country into ruination.

Wouldn't most people agree that should be the criteria for electing every President and and that in hindsight, would label the myriad number of "errors" made, either by accident or design, by the Bush administration as egregious beyond compare? I don't doubt, of course, your qualifications and expertise that allow you to foresee the ruination of this country. Are they aware of you in Washington? Have you tried to call anybody? Probably Fox would be the perfect place to warn everybody. Please hurry before it's too late.

Also...just curious, where did you learn your little "put the negative words in bold typeface" trick? it's so effective...

No. Pelosi and the Democratically controlled Congress including Sen. Obama have to accept particial blame for the horrible mess. No because if the election in 2008 and was about Hope and Change...a candidate who promised to change Washington...to go through the budget line by line...to call people out and root out pork...to stop spending us into oblivion...to balance the budget...promised transparency...then Obama's mess is more egregious...a mess we can't afford after the previous mess.

Trinity: The GOP lost both house races (CA and NY). the one in NY had been GOP since the 1850's. it was a draw for the GOP at best. I know its so hard for you to look at reality, but do try, dear. It will make it so much easier for others to sit with you on visitors day.

Innocent soldiers died because of the failings of GWB and you're writing re-visionist history, GWB held majorities in the Senate and House for most of his tenure. It was the Hastert and Republican controlled congress for most of the time.

In the minority, the Democrats voted for the war instead of holding the party line and standing against the war. They share the blame you wish to cast on Bush.

In the majority in 2006, the Democrats were just as ineffective.

Sarah Palin was more qualified to be Vice President than Obama was to be President. Obama never ran anything. Obama’s claim to fame was being a community organizer for a little more than 2 years. If that counts for anything then anybody can make the same claim if they worked in a low paying job for the community as a recent college graduate. Obama worked at a law firm for a few years with nothing to note. Sarah Palin was a Mayor and Governor. Sarah Palin took down corruption in her state and balanced a budget that was bigger than Bill Clinton’s budget in Arkansas. Sarah Palin has executive experience and proven success at it. Obama had nothing of the sort.

Sarah was a half term Governor of a state with a population smaller than the greater Pittsburgh region. Our county executive has governed more people than Sarah Palin has and for a longer time too. Sarah was a socialist who put excise taxes on the oil companies and distributed that income to Alaska's citizens. You don't get much more socialist than that. Sarah didn't take down corruption... she took over corruption.

After a year and 5 months with Obama, you may not like his policies, but you can't say that he doesn't know how to get his agenda done.... especially considering the segment of the congress that would suffocate themselves if he made a speech in favor of oxygen.

Don't forget Palin's big lie about the money for the "Bridge To Nowhere." She said about the bucks, "We said 'thanks, but no thanks.'"

Lying cunt.

Hey...what's the difference between Palin's vagina and Rush Limbaugh's mouth?

Not everything that comes our of Palin's twat is retarded.

Moron Palin governed a population that is about 40% SMALLER than the COUNTY I live in... Who gives a shit what the hell she thinks? She couldn't even cut it in the job she had, and quit on her constituents. She's a sellout, and nobody in their right mind would vote for her.

To me, she should be a litmus test for sanity... if you're a Palin supporter, you should immediately be committed to the looney bin and undergo intensive phsychotherapy for your disability.
