Unbelievable. We come out of 8 years on perpetual fuck ups with constant reminders and holdovers of said fuck ups and expect the next guy to fix everything as good as new over night? If there truly is a revolt against this President this country deserves exactly what it gets, and that will be to go straight down the shitter. I'm done.

There's a BIG difference between the criticism that comes from "the Left", and the bigoted paranoia, institutionalized racism and ignorance that comes from "the Right"... even if both focus on Obama. Take a wild guess where the OP lies?

Nothing to see here... just a lonely, closeted son of a b**** looking for another Obamaphobe to suck off.

Yawn. I went to sleep for a while, came back, and saw people are still just throwing around the term "racist," instead of participating in real debate. Gets really tiring after a while.

No it doesn't. It's only "tired" to you because you are one... and you're sick of having a label you can't successfully shed off your reputation.

Maybe you should go back 'to sleep'. That seems appropriate.

p.s. Question: What exactly did you add to the debate?

Oh, it will return. This troll is "special".
Ever since I got it to air its dirty laundry last year, it can't help but come back once in a while to get a few digs. He's the most pathetic of the bunch.

Gee, I wonder if he's tried to get other minorities dressed in army clothing thrown off the front of their own apartment buildings?

I guess some traits don't wash off.

Too bad somewhere down the line, you acquired a bunch that transformed you into the vile, repugnant heathen that you are now. Don't get mad that I've applied to you a deserving title and you can't handle it. My vernacular goes much deeper than just a few politicized buzzwords that sends shivers up your spine and self-loathing anger through your soul. I just don't make it a point to engage in such diction when the recipient is a waste of human life such as yourself.

Maybe if you weren't "the R word", you wouldn't be so phased when someone here uses it? Perhaps if you could rescue your cranium from the inner trenches of your anus, you'd see that the world is not a series of ones and zeros? Just maybe, if you could put aside your petty prejudices and try to view life from other angles, understanding that reality is more than what you see with your own two eyes, you'd come to grips with accepting difference instead of being repelled by it? Perhaps then, you could coherently create a statement that doesn't harbor the vindictive, hostile sentiments of sectarian hacks bent on oppression?

But right now, you just type paltry one liners and run away like a scared little bitch. So sorry that I got you shook.

Learn very quickly that I can use whatever words or tone to phonetically stab your inner psyche. If you're getting your panties in a bunch just because I said the word "racist", just wait till I REALLY start speaking my mind. Now beat it before I send some minorities to rap in front of your house.

The debate has absolutely nothing to with racism Vinyl Boy - admit it. Bush was not a REAL Republican and Obama is NOT a real Democrat. Let's get the country back to the principles it was founded upon - small Federal government, most power locally, or at least at the State level and the freedom to be gay, bi, socialist, conservative, black or asian without the interference of D.C. where they think THEY know best. Only in the US could we have the State of Utah existing next to the State of Nevada without one trying to impose their values on the other. Those that don't agree can move. What a concept.

Let me correct that: Bush was not "for real". If he was a true Christian, as he claimed he was, he would have given his wealth to the poor.

Obama is not a real Democrat? He was truly elected the first time, unlike Bush, right?

LOL!!!
Real Republican? Real Democrat? Kinda like how some people speak about "Real Americans"? As if there's some set rule or guidelines to go by that aren't based on anything but stereotypical definitions? . . . .
It seems that BF has defined for us what a "real American" is. Shall we all get in line?

I guess some traits don't wash off.

From the European View; America now has a sane, rational President. Who isn't a religious nut job, who sees that Abortion and Stem Cell Research isn't the route to all evil, and that Muslims aren't all part of some big plot for end freedom and veil us all.

Obama is Honest, or at least he portrays himself successfully as being honest.
I wish we'd have a leader like him.

The anti-Obama narrative is so confused that it's simultaneously maddeningly hilarious and frighteningly dumbfounding.

The bottom line is that lots of people, mostly of below-average political intelligence, are angry. They're lashing out, and the most obvious target is the current President. Americans have a tendency to be obnoxiously short-sighted, and this is just another example of that.

I'm willing to bet that in a couple years, when the economy has settled back down and unemployment is back to a generally acceptable level, all this RETARDED (yes, I said it) anti-Obama nonsense will blow over.

Of course, he's not doing himself a ton of favors by letting the GOP stomp all over his agenda. I understand that he's trying to set a new political tone, but he's got to realize that Republicans have NO intention of good-faith negotiation. All they have to do is paralyze the government, and they will win elections in 2010 and 2012.

.

Most people are always angry, regardless of intelligence or political acumen.

This is nothing new; our society has been short-sighted for decades.

I'm willing to bet that in a couple years, when the economy has settled back down and unemployment is back to a generally acceptable level, all this RETARDED (yes, I said it) anti-Obama nonsense will blow over.

Doubtful. The economy will recover in spite of Obama, not because of him and/or his agenda. That's just what it does - it is cyclical. When the dust settles, we will still be left with his poor leadership and empty rhetoric. The anti-Obama nonsense will remain.

Of course, he's not doing himself a ton of favors by letting the GOP stomp all over his agenda. I understand that he's trying to set a new political tone, but he's got to realize that Republicans have NO intention of good-faith negotiation. You are referring to the healthcare bill? Who would want to negotiate that pork-ridden pile of steaming dung? It was horrid. Anyone that would allow that bill to see the light of day is inept and corrupt.

You are correct on 2010 and 2012.

I don't live in the US anymore... but I still follow the political situation in your country.

It appears to me that the most right wing in US is allowed to use this vulgar propaganda... with no moderate right wing to stand up and contradict these wild outpourings. I think Nick's blog is and good example of outpourings.

President Obama meet more or less constructive criticism from the Left... but there is a big difference between this and the paranoia and ignorance from the Right. Didn't the right wing learn anything during the Bush II days? Yes a lot did... I know that from personally friendships... it just don't seems to be ok to talk about it.

How many Americans can honestly raise their right hand and declare that the Republicans did a good job during the 8 years with President Bush II? Not too many I believe.

President Obama took over an US in a mess. An US in economical regression, with a huge public debt, involved in two wars draining the budget, increasing unemployment and a administration of justice that do not meet international standards.

As I see it no president have ever had a tougher job in front of him than President Obama. He needs your support to do his job.

So do we see the politicians start co-operate or collaborate to solve some of these major problems??? No... we see the republicans turn to the good old smear campaigns... and Nick seems to be one of the nutty diciples that actually believe in all the nonsense.

By the way President Obama is actually bringing the defense spending under democratic control. There is no acceleration in defense spending... but now the cost appears in the yearly budget. President Bush II run the war by political fear and by asking for emergency approval for billions of more USD.

So.......
Is President Obama a socialist? NO - by no mean.
Is Nick a racist? Might be.... I hope not.

Dear US citizens... and Nick... it's not President Obama that needs your loyalty... it is USA that needs you to stop the subversive propaganda and get in the working clothes to save the country from a major decline started by 8 years of misuse of the Americans confidence.

I wish you all a happy day... may your god be with you.

Hey did you leave the US for Sweden too?

I did, I decided I want my future kids to be born in a country where they could get free education and we as a family could get affordable health care. When the time comes and I am retired, I don't want to have to choose between food and health care.

Thing is I think that 2-3 years from now when the same Americans who are railing against the health care bill can't afford their own health care, they will blame Obama for not pushing it hard enough. Some health care companies are raising their premiums and others have postponed their raises - I am guessing they are waiting until the health care bill is killed then they will "adjust" people's rates. Anthem Blue Cross is only the first of what's going to be a general pattern. I'll be there to say "I told you so".
