I do feel a bit more enlightened for some reason...

Unbelievable. We come out of 8 years on perpetual fuck ups with constant reminders and holdovers of said fuck ups and expect the next guy to fix everything as good as new over night? If there truly is a revolt against this President this country deserves exactly what it gets, and that will be to go straight down the shitter. I'm done.
I like her :biggrin1:
I'll second that!
Ditto. Gee, wonder how all that 'Socialism' is working out for them? The last two posts from the women from Sweden has boosted the IQ level on this forum by at least 100 points.
I've always loved Nissan, always said they were superior even to Toyota, though Toyota had better rep. Recent developments would seem to confirm that.. . . Got a Nissan. Gets good mileage. The car's name is Liam.
Once again, leave it to Europeans and expatriots to have a better grasp of American politics and society by far than the vast majority of our own fat, lazy, ignorant, dumbed-down citizenry - and the further Right those citizens are, the more that holds true.
Third World Presidency = Non-White guy in the Oval Office. That's about as far as our neighborhood bigot is able to reason. Close the closet door Nick.
Oh, one more point. The OP isn't fooling anyone by using the term "third world". That is simply code for ethnic or non white.
So.......
Is President Obama a socialist? NO - by no mean.
Is Nick a racist? Might be.... I hope not.
Dear US citizens... and Nick... it's not President Obama that needs your loyalty... it is USA that needs you to stop the subversive propaganda and get in the working clothes to save the country from a major decline started by 8 years of misuse of the Americans confidence.
I wish you all a happy day... may your god be with you.
^off topic much?
The last I checked, he's getting the job done a whole hell of a lot better than the last guy, .
And who cares who's bashing Obama? The last I checked, he's getting the job done a whole hell of a lot better than the last guy, and unfortunately, we had to take Obama or get stuck with that crackpot Palin in the White House. When 2012 rolls around, the Republicans are going to have to do the same thing they did in 2008 when McCain had to pick Palin; they're going to be forced to veer too far to the right to appease the 'purity tests' of their wingnut and corporate bases, and they're going to hand the election to Obama on a silver platter. Unless the Republicans finally get in touch with the electorate and moderate their platform greatly, Obama will win by even more than he did in '08, I guarantee it.
One of the factors that fueled the resurgence of the Democrats in the 2006 midterms and particularly President Obama's 2008 campaign was the enthusiastic backing of the "Millennial" generation -- voters between 18 and 29. But a Pew Research Center study says that the Democrats' advantage over Republicans with this group has dramatically shrunk from a 32 point margin in 2008 to 14 points. (emphasis added)

I think he means that Bush is a socialist."you would almost think Bush was still in office!"
I don't even know where to begin with that...
I love Churchill. Here's another one:"The best argument against democracy is a five minute conversation with the average voter." - Winston Churchill
The way they buy soap? Sadly, you have just described a large portion of the American electorate. Can we shoot the next person who uses the line, "Whatever happened to the CHANGE he promised"? I mean, really... talk about your whiny bitches?
Nobody but the unintelligent would vote for anyone based on a campaign slogan.
