The point(besides the one on your hood)is that much of the opposition to the President has to do with race. Before he was even elected(so there goes your whole"he's destroying our country" argument)you had people calling for his death. I know that you and star both want to deny the facts and pretend that you both don't feel the same way as the bigots but anyone with a functioning brain can see that the bigots are finding a place to come and join others of their ilk. The only thing is that none of these protesters are brave enough to say what they really want to so they hide behind cries of socialist.

With all of the wailing about racism, it is indeed time to re-examine Mr. Obama's long-standing relationship/partnership with the good reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Hmm. Interesting - in 2006 the Obama's donated $20K to the church teachings of vile caucasion and Jew-hater Rev. Jeremiah Wright and worshiped there for several years.

Worshiped the teachings of a known racist against whites and Jews.

Now, several of Wright's quotes and statements are linked above. It is INDISPUTABLE that he is a raging racist.

And Obama worshiped there for years - leaving only after pressure from his relationship with Mr. Wright.

Now - who is the racist again?

Question: Did you watch the entire video of Rev. Wright or just what the media showed you (Fox News maybe...)? If you did, you'd know that not once did he say anything about hating Whites and Jews. I've watched it several times myself. He was basically discussing America's hypocrisy as a whole as it pertains to unjust crimes that the nation has committed against its own citizens, not to mention other nations. Crimes, that as of today, have still not been accounted for. I don't remember hearing him say he hated anyone. Hell, I even understood where he was coming from. It's called context...

Let's watch again, shall we?

Storm brought up the issue of racism a few posts up. Racism is this 'horrifying' thought/issue that is being thrown around at every conservative in the forum.

With absolutely no evidence whatsoever that myself or Pitbull are racist - as Storm suggests - it stands to reason that one could question whether or not Obama is a racist. That is - there is documented evidence that he worshiped the teachings of a proven and self-proclaimed racist -- for several years.

This is perhaps storm's strategy to deflect attention away from Obama's being racist - and to wildly accuse innocent members of this website of being racist with absolutely no reason to do so.

This type of assertion [recklessly screaming racism a la McCarthyism sixty years ago] is something that sets the progress of the black race back in my opinion.

You seem very easily impressed, and you just love the obvious sloganeering , don't you?

Were you ever a cheerleader?

What else do they have but tired completely bankrupt slogans? 'Small government', 'regulatory relief', 'personal responsibility', 'strong defense'. All utterly meaningless and cost free to implement.

But where does Bush's brand new entitlement Medicare Part-D fit into the 'small government' mantra? Oh it doesn't, it fit into his re-election strategy that's it. Dudinvestor and Nick of 4 wants to act like Bush doesn't count even though they all voted for him......twice.

No... what's YOURS?
You responded to me, and I wasn't even talking to your sorry behind.

I'm sorry.
The fact that you quoted me in that post made it look like you were responding my post.

Now that you made it clear that you just quote me for no good reason,
it is even more confusing as to the point you were trying to make.

I'll just assume whatever your point was it wasn't worthwhile.

Well aren't you ignorant.

Anything else besides people who disagree with Obama are racist because you say so without any proof?

“We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because the stuff we have done overseas is now brought right back to our own front yards. America’s chickens are coming home to roost.” (Sep 2001)

“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.” (2003)

“Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run!…We [in the U.S.] believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God.” (sermon)

“Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people. Hillary would never know that. Hillary ain’t never been called a nigger. Hillary has never had a people defined as a non-person.”

“Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill has been good to us. No he ain’t! Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. He was riding dirty.” (sermon)

“The Israelis have illegally occupied Palestinian territories for over 40 years now. Divestment has now hit the table again as a strategy to wake the business community and wake up Americans concerning the injustice and the racism under which the Palestinians have lived because of Zionism.”

My, what beautiful and inspirational teachings to listen to, to worship, and to scream and pray to for a non-racist church member.

And where did StormfrontFL say that ALL opposition was due to racism, star? You think "some" or "most" equals "all" now? Pay attention to the statements made and stop over exaggerating.

Also, if you think people on the left were silent about Jeremiah Wright, then you need to take the plugs out of your ears. Grant it, there wasn't as much noise as you would have liked, just for the simple fact that you just don't like Obama so it's natural that you want more people saying bad stuff about him. But questions were raised on both sides. And yes, some of Jeremiah Wright's comments were indeed racist. You feel better now?

Kinda sad that had to be told to you... AGAIN.

That still doesn't take away any of the anger & resentment people are feeling from the right these days. Instead of searching for quality when it comes to critiques, the opposition are merely looking at quantity. There are plenty of Republicans out there who have honest concerns about our current administration, but it's constantly drowned out by rants about Socialism, Fascism, Nazism, Communism, the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, etc. You're just as guilty of this, star. Much of your statements are nothing more than hateful, rhetorical rants that don't provide any possible solutions to our Nation's problems.

Remember, I said much and not all. Don't play yourself here.

Perhaps if you knew how to keep the lunatics in your party in check, there wouldn't be this much scrutiny? Instead, Republicans are letting them stand out because they're LOUD, instead of letting the ones with the level heads and sane voices speak for them. You can't blame all of this on the so-called "liberal media" either. We can watch Fox News and hear all of their pundits instigate this tone of animosity and fear.

If you're sick of the term "racism" being used to describe the noise coming from the conservative side of things, then change your tone. Change your context. Much to your chagrin, it's not a "buzzword" used to deflect the issue and it's a lot more than just yelling swears or derogatory words too.

Obama's Pastor: God Damn America, U.S. to Blame for 9/11 - ABC News

YouTube - Jeremiah Wright (Barack Obama's Mentor) - Hillary Clinton ain't never been called....

THE AUTONOMIST

Hmm. Interesting - in 2006 the Obama's donated $20K to the church teachings of vile caucasion and Jew-hater Rev. Jeremiah Wright and worshiped there for several years.

Obama has disavowed Wright. He doesn't turn to him for counsel. Republican legislators actively seek the support of obvious racists at the tea party gatherings(I've posted the link for you once before). When I was 7 years old my Sunday school teacher warned me against marrying a white girl one day(gay and my bf is white so that shows her). I knew even then that what she said was wrong. I remained a member of that church for years. I took from them what was good and left all the garbage with them. You can be a part of something and not embrace all of it.

I'm not saying that all criticism of Obama is racist. But you refuse to admit that a great number of those protesting have racial motives else why did the protesting, name calling and threats begin even before he was elected? Why carry posters of him dressed as a witch doctor? Even you aren't that dense, or are you?

As far as your analysis of the progression of the "black race" (there's no such thing, presh[slang for precious]), there are many factors that hinder progression. However, I don't believe you should be the one to speculate on those reasons considering you've never been Black a day in your life. Racism is still very much alive. It's just more subtle. Let's not forget that the 60's were only 40+ yrs ago. A lot of those people are still alive and even went on to have kids to whom they spread their ideologies. Ever stop to think that people still "scream racism" because certain groups of people continue to dismiss it or look past it? Of course, not every situation has to do with race. Instead of deflecting other people's (legitimate) feelings and concerns, try listening to them. What Rev. Wright said wasn't racist. Flaming rhetoric...yes. Racism...not so much. If you want to see blatant racism, check out some shots from a Tea Party...

Aaaannnywho...let's get back on topic.

Pissbull I've read enough of your posts to know what you are. Now go ahead as a white man and tell me, a black man, what constitutes racism. Like VB, I grew up being the only black face in a sea of white. I heard all the little coded comments about how I only succeeded scholastically because of quotas. It didn't matter that my IQ was over 150 and that I was raised to believe in the importance of education. All that those people believed was that the only way my grades could be higher than their little blond "genius" was because the teachers had to be going easy on me. Now go and deny that there haven't been people on here posting that Obama only got elected because"uninformed"( read uneducated) blacks voted for him solely because of his color.

You are rapidly moving towards my list of favorite people.

I love it when the white males attmpt to tell blacks or women what is racism or sexism. Have they experienced what we have? Does star know what it's like to be followed around a store because the shopkeeper thinks he will steal? I've been through that more times than I can count. My favorite time was when I later found out that while I was being followed a white classmate of mine took advantage of that and took the opportunity to shoplift. Has star ever been questioned as to his level of education by someone who refused to accept him as a figure of authority simply because of his race?

Who needs proof? Have you been to a teabagger gathering?(I have) It's impossible not to pick up on the racism. Suggesting people need to 'prove' that most teabaggers are racist is ridiculous. Just talk to them and ask them. They'll proudly tell you they are.

I've been to Tea Parties and have not witnessed one iota of racism or even the issue of race -it was downtown on fountain square in Cincinnati.

A few of you have seen clips of more radical/inappropriate demonstrators playout about on the liberal news stations, and you think that is an accurate depiction of all of the tea parties.

Well, you are wrong.
