Funny. Only last Tuesday, the president, who exerted himself so mightily to avoid the draft, called McCain "an American hero."Nahhhhhh McCain is a liar and a traitor. He's been working against the US since 1967.
Because arseholes like yourself one day will need to be wiped by someone who cares. Why do you take a nursing salary when medical care should be non-profit?
Ok doctor, you've put yourself as a health policy expert:
What are CSR's and why are they important?
What are the community rating differences between the ACA and the BRCA? It that is too hard what is a community rating?
Was the Cruz Amendment a one or two risk pool plan, explain?
What is a "high risk pool" and how does it work?
What does "block granting" medicaid accomplish?
No googling. I'm merely a nurse and can asnwer all of them off of the top of my head.
Sounds to me like a classic case of "whose is bigger"![]()

Which tells you horribly the Republicans botched their repeal efforts, if they couldn't even get McCain to sign off in the end.
Rumour is McCain fell on his sword so the other Republican senators didn't have to.

Ironic, isn't it??
Not ironic. Politics, aka "say whatever you think will play best for your audience at that moment." He's just not very good at it.
I can't predict the future, but I suspect McCain will be remembered as an exceptionally principled politician and, yes, a hero if any of that species are currently sitting in Congress.Ironic in that maybe, in this ONE instance at least, Trump's words turned out to be true in a manner he least expected.
None of you Trumpers will understand this post because you haven't bothered yourselves to learn policy. The CBO just released a score of what would happen if Trump withheld CSR payments.
CBO: If Trump cuts off CSR payments, insurers will raise premiums by 20% or leave the market entirely. It would also increase the deficit by $194billion dollars.

I have tried to debate health care policy. You couldn't keep up.Of course you couldn't ask, you have to assume and poke people in the eye with every post. Does it make you feel better?

What is a CSR? What is community rating, how does it affect premiums?? What is actuarial value?I recall you thought so at the time. Intellect and name calling are not entirely mutually exclusive I suppose, I'll try to keep an open mind about that too.
