I'm with Dolfette on this one...

I don't know if it's a mental thing with me or not, because I absolutely detest cum, everything about it, but I can smell it whether it's in me or on me, no matter how much I shower/bath, I can still smell it.

I'm not so bad with normal vaginal smells, aside from during periods... I don't just smell my own, I can smell other peoples too, no matter how clean the person is, when they last changed whatever their chosen product is, I can smell it and it drives me up the damn wall.

No one else seems to notice though, I've asked others if they could smell it after female friends have left, they couldn't. My husband doesn't have a bloody clue (hehe) when my periods have started... Maybe my nose just hates me!
I can smell myself and him. I hate smelling other peoples sex bits...yuck!

I don't smell anything after fingering a girl. Or at least the one I fingered. Guess she didn't smell like much.

Chances are there is a bit of psychological things going on that make you aware of where the smell is and when you sniff you are reminded of what it smelled like before you washed your hands. Add in the pheromone recognition and hormones that are also being secreted and your olfactory senses are being triggered big time.

I am not a huge fan of the smell of semen but I've noticed it's much less pungent since I had my cervix removed because I had chronic cervicitis and the fluid that was constantly coming out from that irritation mixed with his semen was just stronger in scent.

His semen smells and tastes the same for the last 13 years regardless of his diet, so I don't see where diet plays a roll in it because at some point I would notice a difference in over a decade of frequent sex. I believe we have signature scents that we can't control no matter how much we want to.

Look in your local drugstore for a liquid soap called Hebiclens (ask the person behind the counter). It is a broad spectrum surgical soap that surgeons scrub up with before and after surgery. It kills literally everything. You can use it on your hands but read the instructions carefully as to not get it in areas you aren't supposed to because it can do damage to soft tissue and mucous membranes. But it is entirely safe for your hands.

If that doesn't get rid of the smell, it's entirely psychological.

The smell depends on the woman. I love walking around the next morning with the scent of the woman from the night before on my upper lip and yes I wash my face.

for people with sensitive noses to be told they're imagining it is much like me telling you that you're seeing things. it's a weird assumption to make.

fingers especially seem to trap scent. in fact, i bet you've all had onion or garlic scent on your fingers that doesn't come off in the first hand wash!

I'm not saying it is all in his head, I am saying that the psychology of scent is very real if he can still faintly smell it after washing his hands over and over again. The human mind is very much affected by the idea that it is still on us. I am a germaphobe and honestly no matter how many times I wash my hands after I touch a basket at the store I still think I need to bathe in alcohol. Same after touching raw meat. I have a harder time shaking it off my mind than I do my body. And this could be partly what is going on.

I smell things all the time no one else can smell. Usually I'm correct in what I'm smelling after it is revealed. But sometimes I've been entirely off the mark.

Add the idea of pheromones he could be very sensitive to with the psychology and it could easily become something that you can be obsessed with. After suggesting the Hebiclens, if it still remains after a good scrubbing with that, then it is likely psychological in nature.

i already posted that i can smell myself on my fingers after soap. i already posted that.
i don't have any psychological reason to notice, ''hey, i still smell like me!'' either.

it's weird what lifts a smell off. like... putting ketchup on skunk sprayed dogs works. the alcohol gel i use does seem to kill a lot of smells and lift a lot of stains, though i'm not tried it with pussy. i might test that one this morning.

I can smell cum residue for hours afterwards too, and for the same reason as dolf - combination of a sensitive nose and 'it's just not a me smell'. Unlike dolf, I like having the reminder hanging around for a while.

Hey OP, the scent of a woman shouldn't bother you only if her PH is off or she has an infection. Maybe she should get checked out. Then again you might not be chemically compatible with her and she is just fine. Just saying.....

I do not have a problem with the smell, I actually like it, its just weird touching other peoples stuff afterwards, especially if another woman owns it.
Its not psychological because after I used alcohol I couldn't smell anything.
