Even a truly representative list of my "favorites" would take up way way too much space on here, so leaving out a few obvious classics, here's a few that come to mind:

Clint Black - Better Man
Todd Rundgren - any early stuff
Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill
Pink Floyd - Shine on you Crazy Diamond
Richar Wagner - Tristan und Iseult - Liebestod (Jessye Norman version)
J. S. Bach - Flute Sonata in G minor
Bonnie Raitt - anything!
k. d. lang - most anything, but especially her cover of "The Valley, by Jane Siberry
Koko Taylor - Voodoo Woman

I just like music, in general. Most styles, with few exceptions.

Sticking to 5 to make it more interesting. Could easily be 50.

Bob Marley - Legend
Beatles - Sgt Peppers
Aretha - Let Me In Your Life
Stevie Wonder - Fulfillingness First Finale
Alison Krauss - Now That I Found You

Hm, well it's on my version of it.

And HappyHammer, American Prayer was the Jim Morrison/Doors album that was released after Morrison's death. The album that you're thinking of is "American IV" by Johnny Cash.. it has that weird version of "We'll Meet Again" on it as well.

Yeah..."...is everybody in?"

'Hurt' on American iv is just simply brilliant. I really love 'Personal Jesus', just sounds wierd, but also goes to show what a shite lyricist Manson is!!

No Particular Order, you say... so here we go (once again):

# Dave Edmunds, Anthology
# Dave Edmunds, I Hear You Rockin' (Live from NYC 1988)
# Bobbie Gentry (& Glenn Campbell), Ode To Billie Joe / Duets
# Dire Straits, On Every Street
# Dire Straits, Communiqué
# Dire Straits, Brothers In Arms
# Dire Straits, Dire Straits
# Cass Elliott, The Music Of Mama Cass Elliott
# Mary Hopkin, Those Were The Days
# Status Quo, Whatever You Want - The Very Best Of Status Quo

and many, many more.

Still, if you ask for the "Soundtrack of my life", that'd be Eric Burdon's "Good Times" - When I think of all the good times that I've wasted having good times...

I Forgot-
Manic Street Preachers - Forever Delayed - Motorcycle Emptyness / Theme from MASH / in fact, everything
[post=357115]Quoted post[/post]

Get their first album: Generation Terrorists. It basically "the Manics do Guns N Roses" but is fantastic and you can pick it up for about 6 quid anywhere. And do yourself a favour and buy The Holy Bible as well... Forever Delayed does a pretty shit job of acknowledging that album.
