The Youtube vid is an instance of honor killing by a religion called the Yazedi. They are actually not Muslims. It also says that the greater Yazedi community and her own family did not want this to happen to her. Some male cousins took the law into their own hands. Her crime was being seen in public talking to a Sunni Muslim boy.

Religious violence , Catholic versus Protestant, Roundhead versus Royalist, etc., are certainly troubling the British Isles still, as well as other areas. It isn't only Islam or the middle East, certainly. Anti-Buddhist violence is rife as well in both north and south Asia.
