SizeRulz: I'm intrigued by the term 'packing' (or packin'). I've never heard it before, but I've seen it used frequently in here. I understand what it means (duh!), but I'm wondering if it is a regional term, or what. Does anybody have a clue where it came from?

It came from the slang term 'packing heat' or 'packing a rod', meaning 'carrying a weapon'.
