Go to Mexico for a fraction of the cost.. they treat you like a Goddess. One female impersontaion/transgendered "star" went.. they did the porceline veneers, brow shaving, liposuction, nose, breasts (re-done removing injected silicone and replacing with implants) and throat during a 10 say stay. It is like a resort. Thj Dr there even does hairlines and tucks back ears...

I must add to this thread, reading the posts made me realize a lot of poeple DO have questions about this subject.. whether they are transgendered or just curious about the ones that are. Hopefully you understand that this is not taboo any longer, and you should feel free to ask what you like or express your opinions in a respectful manner.

Spending many years looking into myself and my life, iI made some difficult choices. The advice to "Slow Down" was what I followed.. and I discovered ultimately it wasn't about changing my sex... there were other issues I had to face and deal with instead. After years of work toward my surgery, I chose not to become female. An increasing number of people choose to not have the final surgeries. Each case is unique and each person should spend time with a therapist to really work through the fog. Honesty with oneself and faith in a professional therapist will show you which direction to take.

In Tijuana, you can have the whole process done in no time, without the usual required documentation. A friend actually awoke mid-surgery.. in a mobile home, and her lasting memory was of a minor (child) pulling hair out of what used to be her scrotum. Horrible.. but it was her desire and she jumped at the first opportunity that was available.. cheap and convenient.

I noted the comment about some surgeons making people look similar after scraping the brow, etc. This is very true. However in Beverly Hills - a Dr does the same type of work, and his cases are beautiful. He is a true artist.

I promise you, many of you have interacted with someone you had no clue was transgendered. So many of my sisters and brothers do not follow a Gay lifestyle. They are mainstream and passable. Those that aren't, I feel for them.. but they are happy. That is the ultimate goal.. happiness.

Makes you want to look twice at that beautiful blonde in the market or gym... I know many TS strippers and showgirls too.. unless they are completely nude you cannot be certain! G-Strings and duct tape truly are "Victoria's Secret" ! lol...

Hi Big Fan,

Please bare with me since I know little about intersexed gender issues, however your pictures in the gallery demonstrate a man ( physically) however you classify yourself as intersexed. I hope I don't come across rude in anyway, however for the "ignorant newbies" on this site such as myself can you please decipher the difference.

thanks

Hello Diamond,
Thank you for your question and your respect in the way you asked. The short answer to your question is that I am NOT intersexed. Intersexed individuals are those who physically have genitalia of both sexes (and were born that way). They are often more frequently known as hermaphrodites.

I am transgendered or transsexual. Such is a person who's psyche or conciousness informs them they are one sex when the body is that of the other. Interestingly enough, the choices for sex here, when you join, allow you to choose male, female, or "intersexed/transgender". So you see, it's the fact that so many people or organizations either don't understand the distinctions that we're lumped together, or more frequently, groups or organizations do't even include a choice other than male or female. It's no offense to LPSG.... At least they presented a choice, even if it was less than ideal.

Many of us who are transsexual would, of course, choose not to display or present their genitalia as I have done in my pics. But we are all individuals, and as such, some of us make different choices. Personally, I didn't think it was fair to "belong" to the group and not post some pics. Besides, I'm not particularly displeased with my genitalia or the size. So I posted pics.

If you (or any others) have any further questions, or need clarification and think I might be able to help - don't hesitate to ask. Just so you know though, a private message alerting me to your question will alert me faster since I just happened to stumble upon this question by checking on the thread again.

The surgery is irreversible and many post-operative transsexuals have real regrets ....

Please show me where this research was done? You cant because it doesnt exist. There isnt jack shit of research in regard to transexuals by the medical community. Actually if you could find me this study it would make me really happy and would mean real research was being conducted by the mainstream medical community on transpeople.

Just because you have a friend or 2 (if you really know any transpeople at all) that regretted their decision, doesnt mean you should make things up to prove your case on a message board. Its just lame and desperate. Two supposed people out of thousands that do not regret their decisions (people i have indeed talked to in person) isnt saying a lot.

It makes me laugh when people do/say this kind of crap, like they are all the "all knowing transgender expert". BTW, anything you listed, square jaws/facial structure, beards, adams apples, etc all can be "solved" with surgery, it just takes $$$.

A simple internet search will show that there is some basic although limited research being done on this Sexual reasignment is gaining in numbers of persons having it done so as it happens more papers will be written on the post-operative experience.

One study found from Hawaii is found at this spot Scroll down and click on "Regret after sex reassignment surgery" it is in PDF format Transgender Transexual Intersex I am aware that the linking I am providing is relates mostly on the web site to AIDS/HIV information but the section on SRS and regrets is valid with or without the attachment of STD information It is about the frame of mind that a person has and the fact that they do not suddenly feel better about the world and themself after surgery There are of course those who do but many do have regrets and it has been documented.

Just enter the words Transexual regret after surgery or similar words and you will find that research is being done on this It is a slow moving research since the numbers of persons who have made full transgender/sexual reassignment are relatively low percentage wise and those willing to participate in these projects are also relatively low Make no mistake however that the research is being done.

Someone has obviously not followed the much-publicised Russell Reid case ?
Someone has also overdone the testosterone shots !
