As bad as he is, the person after Trump, and by that I mean the next person to unite his coalition, is going to be even worse.
Trump's approval rating is historically bad. My faith in the American people is at an all time low but I think still high enough to believe that they would not go further to the right.

I hope the 90 million that sat home and didn't bother and were not alarmed hopefully the alarms have gone off now. If not we might as well just dump democracy as we know it and prepare for a Putin style America.

Trumps presidency has caused huge embarrassment to the U.S.
It has been said that Trump is coming to here to the U.K 26th/27th February to visit 10 Downing Street where possibly the worst PM in British history will kneel down and kiss his redneck arse.

I say to the British people lets just show this pair of fucktards exactly what we think of the "special relationship" and organise the largest protest ever to have been held on British shores. Lets show Trump exactly what we think of him.

The *Pew organization that does polling and is considered to be one of the most unbiased polls has Trump's approval rating at 32 %. The % that disapproves is up to 61 %.

It is the second number that may be the most critical. The approval rating might be 32 % and the don't know or care % could be at 40 %, leaving only 28 % that disapprove.

With 61 % disapproval rating, Trump is for the moment in trouble. Consider that a majority of that 32 % is concentrated in the the 16 or so states that are in the South. (The former slave states.) Hopefully, Trump has lost much of the blue collar vote of the Midwest and what was once the industry belt states like Michigan and Ohio.

If the middle class finally comprehends that the repeal of Obama Care and the new massive tax cuts are both scams designed to soak the middle class in new taxes while giving huge tax breaks to multi-millionaires; and heath premiums for Middle America will go up, not down within a very short time.

The worst part is that the Republicans plan to keep the federal deficits from soaring by gutting Medicare and Social Security. Not all in one year, but nevertheless destroying them.

The Republicans talk about the importance of good morality, while winking at sexual assaults by Republicans, robbing from the poor to give to the rich through taxes and letting the weak, young and old die because the Republicans have destroyed Medicare and Medicaid.

I also read that Trump is getting close to 2000 lies since becoming president. Some organization is fact checking him.

At the time I read these statistics, I wasn't thinking about presenting them here. Much of my reading is from Alternet. Much of the above are reports given by Alternet.

In case you are wondering, no I did not vote for Trumpty Dumpty. I proudly voted for Hillary.

I agree with your sentiments. However, the special relationship is also about the peoples of both the US and the UK, not just the people who happen to be the US president and the UK prime minister.

America's history is the same as England's history until the 1770s. A year is spent in public schools learning about the English colonies.and how they began as colonists from England. In 1607 when the first colony was founded, Scotland and England were not united as one country.

I really liked Cameron as a person. However, if Scotland should pull out of the UK and the UK economy tank because it is leaving the EU Cameron is the one that set the stage for both to happen.

I clicked that I liked this post. The real reason I clicked like is because I am very afraid that it tells the truth that the US is headed toward fascism at the speed of light! I so hope I am wrong!

Uranium firm urged Trump officials to shrink Bears Ears National Monument
A uranium company launched a concerted lobbying campaign to scale back Bears Ears National Monument, saying such action would give it easier access to the area’s uranium deposits and help it operate a nearby processing mill, according to documents obtained by The Washington Post.

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke and top Utah Republicans have said repeatedly that questions of mining or drilling played no role in President Trump’s announcement Monday that he was cutting the site by more than 1.1 million acres, or 85 percent. Trump also signed a proclamation nearly halving the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, which is also in southern Utah and has significant coal deposits.

“This is not about energy,” Zinke told reporters Tuesday. “There is no mine within Bears Ears.”

But the nation’s sole uranium processing mill sits directly next to the boundaries that President Barack Obama designated a year ago when he established Bears Ears. The documents show that Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc., a subsidiary of a Canadian firm, urged the Trump administration to limit the monument to the smallest size needed to protect key objects and areas, such as archeological sites, to make it easier to access the radioactive ore

hasent earnt an ounce of credibilty ever,to be fronting up on this matter
why it had nothing to contribute except froning up methinks

As Donald Trump paid tribute to civil rights leaders, protesters panned his own record

edit

Some shouted "No Trump, no hate, no KKK in the USA".
Mr Trump spent about 30 minutes at the museums, gave a 10-minute speech to select guests inside and then flew back to his Florida estate, skipping the public schedule of the dedication ceremony held outside on a chilly day.

He spent more time getting to the museums in Jackson than he did on the ground.

What Trump said

Mr Trump's remarks steered clear of addressing the anger that his participation had sparked leading up to the dedication.

As Trump pays tribute to civil rights leaders, protesters pan his own record
President Donald Trump paid tribute to all involved in the US civil rights movement at a new museum but his trip laid bare the stark divisions among Americans about his commitment to that legacy.

Trump Lies Database Update:

For some reason, our year-long project analyzing, categorizing and tracking every false or misleading claim by President Trump had seemed like quite a burden in the past month. Well, the numbers are in and now we know why: In the past 35 days, Trump has averaged an astonishing nine claims a day.

President Trump has made 1,628 false or misleading claims over 298 days
FYI. False/misleading claims = LIES. The press is afraid to call them lies but I'm not.

I beg you to do so. PLEASE! Give him the ugliest reception you can give.

Yes, you're right: he's a billionnaire redneck. He doesn't even have basic geography skills.

The whole world needs to tell him to go pound salt and scream it so loudly till he goes deaf. He's a disgrace to the entire world.

He's sick and twisted - never believe otherwise.

35% of Americans need to go live in Russia.

FALSE TRUMP

What we see in the media is far removed from reality.
The picture we are given of Donald Trump is a fake.
Some might almost call it robotic!
take
he is obviously a man who wears a foundation garment, no one else walks in that uptight way.
(so what you see in pu8blic is nothing like the mound of flesh he reveals at bedtime)
His hair, comes on a silk base and applied each morning, checked often during the day - could he be a total egghead underneath? Would he be recognisable without that fibre glass hair spin?
The make-up, oh yes, even the orange tan these days is fake, and see the returns for his hair and make-up paid for by, you guessed it, you!
And then the teeth, now we know they are fake, George Washington's wooden teeth fitted as well sometimes. For evidence see him endorsing Moore, "shtaetshs"
and finally, what really concerns most is in fact the robotic appearance.
Not only did his teeth malfunction but it seem the word processor was also out of sync and consequently his arm and hand actions didn't match.
Any observant person will have realised that his hand and arm movements are synchronised with his speech pattern and operate on sound waves - similar to disco lighting - so, perhaps in addition to his hair, teeth, make-up and body container there is more fake about Trump than we realised
(the first lady though isn't always the first lady - check out the days in dark glasses)
Maybe its the man drinking the dozen bottles of diet coke while spending 4 hours a day watching himself on all the news channels flopped out in his PJ's who's the real Trump - and I thought a narcissistic person was a fantasy!

I don't think they need to go any further to the right. I think the country is teetering on the edge of fascism right now. If Trump was anything even approaching competent we would already be there.

The idiots and racists who voted Trump in didn't just show up last year. They've been here since the beginning and now that they have a voice, they aren't going away.

You made an A on this "assignment!" However, you left many of Trump's "achievements" unsaid. No one could make a one hundred A as that would require more words than the LPSG allows per post!

Your best "remembrance" is "which other President would step out and endorse an accused rapist as being he best person to serve his country."

I've not read anywhere any time a one sentence comment on Trumpty Dumpty that brought more laughs from me. That one sentence is priceless!

My favorite is Trump as a candidate: Who besides Trump has had a recording of his own voice bragging about assaulting women and still get the majority of the votes of the right wing evangelical wing of Christianity?

My second that you didn't mention is: Which President in American history was more unqualified to serve as president than Trump?

There use to be some question about who was the most unqualified president in US history. Trump has now removed all doubt!

On a side note:
One positive outcome I heard on CNN is the other Republican Senator from Alabama stating that he could not vote for this rapist. I heard him state that this afternoon. I so hope the people in Alabama will take notice of this
