GOOD NEWS FOR THE UK
US president Donald Trump said he would not travel to the UK to open the new American embassy next month, blaming the "bad deal" to relocate it.
Theresa May was the first world leader to visit Mr Trump in the White House, and the US president accepted at the time an invitation for a state visit .
But the of a visit in any form was fairly swiftly pushed into the long grass, given the scale of expected protests and opposition within the UK . A petition against a state visit gained more than a million signatures last year.
Mr Trump was then reported to be considering a "working visit", with some publications reporting that a date had been set for the end of February.
The visit was due to coincide with the opening of the new US embassy, at Nine Elms on the banks of the Thames in south London.
Writing on Twitter, Mr Trump said he thought the embassy's move from Grosvenor Square was a "bad deal".
Reason I cancelled my trip to London is that I am not a big fan of the Obama Administration having sold perhaps the best located and finest embassy in London for “peanuts,” only to build a new one in an off location for 1.2 billion dollars. Bad deal. Wanted me to cut ribbon-NO!

Could it also be that he actual;y has some idea that he wouldn't be welcome, that in fact all the shithole nations of the world (that's anywhere that isn't the USA and including Alabama) are united in their condemnation of his bullying self interested ideals?

Just another case of President Obama being blamed for some GWB did in the last year of his second term.

Like agreeing to leave Iraq.

Because that was what the government of Iraq wanted, no DEMANDED.

The narrative is always that because he did not go in a change what ever it was that GWB did then the fact that he did not made it "his fault" and was/is never the fault of the guy that actually decided to do it.

FACT
The transfer of the American Embassy in London was started in the Bushed Era.
Grosvenor Square , while being in Mayfair, wasn't a very secure or safe location with access from many points.
The New Embassy is not as Trumpo suggests in a run down area.
The sale of the old building - its going to be an up market hotel - paid for the construction of the new Embassy with change.
So, from Trumpo not to want someone from a shithole country to decide where to build an embassy - facts all wrong Trumpo.
FACT
While an official invitation to visit the UK was extended there has never been a firm date from the UK government.
Trump's office suggested it would be the end of February for him to come to the UK and OPEN - cut the ribbon -of the new Embassy - but this date eminated from the White House and not from an official invitation from the UK Government.
In fact today a model of DT was placed in front of the new Embassy much to the delight of social media - its a wax model, or, as other might call it, a stuffed Trump!
After the reports of the recent Presidential outburst most Londoners are delighted for him not to come, they wont have to police the area to keep him safe - however it does mean a good day out telling Trump how popular he is in a civilised country will not happen...pity.
Meanwhile, just to sun up the facts a bit more it would seem that the "shithole" remarks are really enjoyed by the Trump Base Supporters - which sums them us as racist bigots so very like the President of the United States.

and finally true to himself once again POTUS has shown that the truth is never in his grasp, its something he is unfamiliar with - I wonder when the stethoscope hits his chest they'll even find a heart!

some one out there must have a picture of him falling in a shithole!
Well, apparently he's never been to any the 'shitholes' he doesn't want immigrants coming from, but I believe he has been photographed opening the odd 'Trump' golf course in some of them . . .

Evidently London doesn't want people coming in from shithole countries either.

With all that free time maybe he can go to Russia and plot the next election meddling with the Kremlin?

Well, more lies...from an unabashed, habitual liar. Just add it to these, but then who’s counting?

Breaking from WSJ:
Trump Lawyer Arranged $130,000 Payment for Adult-Film Star’s Silence
Agreement just before election required woman to keep quiet about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006, people familiar with the matter say

A lawyer for President Donald Trump arranged a $130,000 payment to a former adult-film star a month before the 2016 election as part of an agreement that precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump, according to people familiar with the matter.
Michael Cohen, who spent nearly a decade as a top Trump attorney, arranged payment to the woman, Stephanie Clifford, in October 2016 after her lawyer negotiated a non-disclosure agreement with Mr Cohen, sources said.

Besides, nothing ELSE gets his rabid constituency foaming at the mouth like the mere mention of the black man who was in the "white" house.

Trump is also fond of Greeks, who gave us democracy, so its people, including Cretins and Macadamias, are also welcome here as immigrants. He has fond memories of his visits to Athnes and Cornith.

I think you meant the above.:yum

A cretin is a stupid person. Macadamians are nuts. All things considered, you’re in the right ballpark.:yum

You got the humor I tried to convey. Even correcting “Athnes” and “Cornith”, which I unfortunately found in students’ essays. (A colleague of mine one suggested that the etymological derivation of ‘cornhole’ came from ‘Cornith-hole’ based on, you know, how the Greeks were all preverts’.

Inspired by Trump’s pronunciation of Tanzania (which T pronounced as Tan-ZANY-a),
I was originally tempted to attribute to Trump ’Even Africa had immigrants, like the Armenian Avram Tanzanian, who founded Tanzania.’. The humor was overwrought on my part...apologies.

Academics need to accompany old Shep out behind the woodshed to be dispatched, I guess. :)

Just a note about the third cartoon you posted (shown above).... Trump is a moron. But not THAT big a moron:

Trump administration exempts Florida from offshore drilling - Business Insider

This, as expected, has caused a lot of other governors to say WTF? We want an exemption too. Trump loves fossil fuels but he also needs those states to win and I can't even think this out loud...reelection.

In other news from our once "special relationship" partner. The dotard wanted adulation and what awaited him was anything but.

Trump asked why 'pretty Korean lady' analyst wasn't negotiating with North Korea :scream:

Actually the truth is a lot closer to home - and its not frequent flier air miles.
Trump found out that the new Embassy is so secure, has such good protection he would never have got in
He'd have failed the lie detector at the front door!
