The trump presidency

He's "representing" their white, redneck culture: using religion, 2nd amendment, rural culture, hate of minorities and on the poor (even though a lot of Trump supporters are poor and don't practice "appropriate family values"). He's one of us. We finally have someone in government who is US, the real white, hardworking Americans.

Are there liberal rednecks? Yes. Vermont has the most, maybe. But there are not enough of them to really count as a visible minority.

These people are just lost and all this talk about liberals, progressives, democrats and what have you reaching out to these lost people is simply a waste. If you want to corrupt your values as a human and as an American then go ahead and do it as conservatives have. In the process you will lose your soul and become what you hate.

Donald Trump has been obsessed with race for the entire time he has been a public figure. He had a history of making racist comments as a New York real-estate developer in the 1970s and ‘80s. More recently, his political rise was built on promulgating the lie that the nation’s first black president was born in Kenya. He then launched his campaign with a speech describing Mexicans as rapists.

The media often falls back on euphemisms when describing Trump’s comments about race: racially loaded, racially charged, racially tinged, racially sensitive. And Trump himself has claimed that he is “the least racist person.” But here’s the truth: Donald Trump is a racist. He talks about and treats people differently based on their race. He has done so for years, and he is still doing so.

Donald Trump’s Racism: The Definitive List
So it's no surprise:

I beg you to do so. PLEASE! Give him the ugliest reception you can give.

Yes, you're right: he's a billionnaire redneck. He doesn't even have basic geography skills.

The whole world needs to tell him to go pound salt and scream it so loudly till he goes deaf. He's a disgrace to the entire world.

He's sick and twisted - never believe otherwise.

35% of Americans need to go live in Russia.

Well now it looks like the COWARD has bottled it, he is no longer coming to the UK to open the new US embassy blaming Obama instead?? A yellow streak to match his red neck.

That's nearly 10,000 bottles of piss waiting to be thrown at someone, any suggestions?

Oh save them, they are more effective after they ripen and sooner or later he'll be over, he desperately wants a carriage ride with the Queen. God save her, the shit she has to put up with.

The huge drop in uninsured under Obama well just a thing of the past. Everything Obama did must be undone and to that effort a new "plus" for conservatives:

The number of Americans without health coverage, which declined for years after passage of the Affordable Care Act, shot up in President Trump’s first year in office, according to data from a new national survey.

Party Before Country...always! We have the Fox News president and the Fox news congress, reality and the truth have been abandoned and as long as the republican base lives on fake news fantasy island you need not worry about bold face lying and having a shred of decency or honor. The modern republican party prove over and over again decency and honor have no place amongst them, dishonor and indecency are core values if you want to succeed in the party.

There is no honor among anti-immigrant advocates and liars, I suppose. After dutifully lying on behalf of the president regarding his abhorrent language (“shithole countries”), Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.) were outed by the White House. The Post reports:

Three White House officials said Perdue and Cotton told the White House that they heard “shithouse” rather than “shithole,” allowing them to deny the president’s comments on television over the weekend. The two men initially said publicly that they could not recall what the president said.
Not only did these two repeatedly lie, but Cotton also impugned the integrity of Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.), who told the truth. Asked whether the accusation that Trump spoke the offending words or the sentiment was phony, Cotton lied, “Yes.” He went on to say, “Senator Durbin has misrepresented what happened in White House meetings before, and he was corrected by Obama administration officials by it.”

Honorable men would resign after such a remarkable revelation of their crummy character; neither Cotton nor Perdue will. We still await the appearance of a single staffer of either who would quit in protest.

Sens. Cotton and Perdue are outed for lying on Trump’s behalf

In Trump's juvenile haste to prove his cognitive stability, he's actually played right into Mueller's hands by proving his ability to testify and competence for the things that he has already done.

And apparently our "very stable genius" ain't great in the sack. "“The sex was textbook generic,” InTouch quotes Clifford saying in 2011"

Trump Lawyer Used Private Company, Pseudonyms to Pay Porn Star ‘Stormy Daniels’
Michael Cohen created limited liability company just before $130,000 payment
President Donald Trump’s lawyer used a private Delaware company to pay a former adult-film star $130,000 in return for her agreeing to not publicly discuss an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump, according to corporate records and people familiar with the matter.

The lawyer, Michael Cohen, established Essential Consultants LLC, on Oct. 17, 2016, just before the 2016 presidential election, corporate documents show. Mr. Cohen, who is based in New York, then used a bank account linked to the entity to send the payment to the client-trust account of a lawyer representing the woman, Stephanie Clifford, one of the people said.

Mr. Cohen’s decision to establish the company in Delaware offered him privacy and simplicity, hallmarks of a state that has attracted more than one million business entities. Unlike some states, Delaware doesn’t require companies to publicly disclose the names of their managers. In October 2016, the month Mr. Cohen created the entity used in the deal with Ms. Clifford, Delaware officials recorded 10,574 new limited liability companies.

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.
George Orwell

That quote says it all.

I was watching a group of Evangelical Trump supporters being interviewed by MSNBC, all of whom still adore that thing in the WH. I was in horror listening to the comments. The older woman on the panel put a dagger in my heart. Let me paraphrase her words: "I don't want my president to be polished, or well-mannered; I want him to talk like one of us . I now have my country back....and that means everything, and I thank God for that"

She has her country back. What does she mean by that? We all know.

A never-ending nightmare........

Sadly you can see it daily. The party along with it's mouthpiece Fox News directs the basket of deplorables to ignore the evidence of everything that is right in front of you. It is a time of surreal madness and thrumming dread, cranked up to 11.

The news Trump's lawyer paid hush money to a porn star to hide his affair hardly registers a blip. Remember when your political career was over due to tapping in an airport bathroom? How quaint nowadays.

It is the gross ignorance of the Republican right, the only political group in the civilized world still rejecting climate science, still gutting rules and rolling back regulations designed to help protect our timorous, arrogant species, even as their homes burn, cities drown and children die.

Know this now: When it comes to the health and well-being of the human population, Trump’s GOP has proven more dangerous than any terrorist organization could ever hope to be. ISIS has nothing on the modern Republican party.

Reality is on fire and the truth is underwater. God and science are the same. Superstition and hard scientific fact both burn at the same rate. It feels like the end of times for the US as the clock is ticking and the government lead by the Republicans will once again shut down. It almost seems unavoidable at this point.

We are fast running out of sufficiently derogatory words for Trump and his vile, cancerous administration. "Cruel" has become a frontrunner, and for good reason. Also heartless, incompetent, laughable, shallow and megalomaniacal, authoritarian and desperately, gaspingly vain. Deeply racist, misogynistic, imbecilic and a thousand more. On it goes.

All the while..
