Bit like Bills mate Jeffrey Epstein and the 26 documented trips on his private jet to his"getaway".

Probably paid for by the Clinton Foundation.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_Epstein

"In September 2002, Epstein flew Bill Clinton, Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker to Africa in his private Boeing 727, known as the "Lolita Express". Flight records show Bill Clinton flew on Epstein's plane 26 times.[4][49]

Epstein is also a longtime friend of Prince Andrew, and has partied with celebrities such as Katie Couric, George Stephanopoulos, and Woody Allen.[50]"

He kept an interesting cohort around him.

For much of the past year, President Trump has declined to participate in a practice followed by the past seven of his predecessors: He rarely if ever reads the President’s Daily Brief, a document that lays out the most pressing information collected by U.S. intelligence agencies from hot spots around the world.

Trump has opted to rely on an oral briefing of select intelligence issues in the Oval Office rather than getting the full written document delivered to review separately each day, according to three people familiar with his briefings.

Breaking with tradition, Trump skips president’s written intelligence report and relies on oral briefings

Soon after Trump took office, analysts sought to tailor their intelligence sessions for a president with a famously short attention span, who is known for taking in much of his information from conservative Fox News Channel hosts. The oral briefings were augmented with photos, videos and graphics.

The god awful truth is Trump gets his briefings from Fox and Friends.

Then again The Onion got a scoop of the real Trump briefing:

It has suddenly become totally clear that Trumpo is a kind understanding person, and when dealing with friends and fellow travellers even more so.
The big thing is "never cross Trump" for a like an elephant he will never forget.
He has never forgiven Obama for having a better lot of ratings and suntan than his, never forgave Hilary for standing by her man and Kim because he called him a dotard!.
But when it comes to Republicans its a different story.
Alleged child molesters standing for public office
Staff member accused of beating up not one wife but two
Speech writer accused of wife molestation
and that's just the republicans
and in the wider spectrum
Putin.
All face accusations but the President in his almighty wisdom say at each new accusation "he says he didn't do it and I believe him".
(could this be the way the president deals with his own allegations, if I say I didn't do it enough times them it will be true.

Republicans want to turn the entire country into Oklahoma

Like many states controlled by Republicans, Oklahoma has for some time been putting the GOP theory into practice: low taxes, little regulation and weak social spending. On the tax front, it has been particularly aggressive, since state law mandates that no tax increase can pass without a three-quarters majority in the state legislature. This has created a one-way ratchet, in which any tax cut is effectively permanent and taxes can only go down.

And has it produced the boundless prosperity Republicans predict? Well, no. In fact, the state is now in a full-blown fiscal crisis. Here’s a summary of the situation from NPR:

Riding high on the oil boom of the late 2000s, the state followed the Kansas model and slashed taxes. But the promised prosperity never came. In many cases, it was just the opposite.

Around 20 percent of Oklahoma’s schools now hold classes just four days a week. Last year, highway patrol officers were given a mileage limit because the state couldn’t afford to put gas in their tanks. Medicaid provider rates have been cut to the point that rural nursing homes and hospitals are closing, and the prisons are so full that the director of corrections says they’re on the brink of a crisis.

Just to reiterate: The state has so little money that 1 in 5 schools is open only four days a week. Gov. Mary Fallin and Republicans in the state legislature are debating a plan to increase taxes to try to address some of these problems, including giving a raise to teachers. Which is sorely needed, because Oklahoma pays its teachers less than any other state in the country.

^ this is important. Uneducated children make for reliable future Republican voters.
And given the GOP has just enacted another round of tax cuts to the tune of $1 trillion it's only a matter of time before the entire US begins to look a lot like Oklahoma.

Oklahoma's only a few hours drive from me and I wasn't aware of this at all, thanks for posting. Here's a less political run-down of the situation for anyone who's interested to read because I think this is very important and I don't know why it's not more prominent in the news cycle:

What’s the matter with Oklahoma?
Low teacher pay and severe budget cuts are driving schools to the brink

Trump wishes the wife beater who resigned in disgrace well.

He claims “due process is dead”. He doesn’t even understand the meaning of the term. Porter IS receiving due process. It’s not like he’s been locked up without a trial or something. Last time I checked, the man was walking around free. At what point was “due process” violated? Does trump even realize that is a specific term with a precise legal definition?

Our president is an undereducated rube.

Hey if it were not for Mark Burnett wanting different version of "survivor" "the apprentice" was NOT DJT's idea or Russians wanting to launder or at least "park" there money in the US via someone who would ask NO questions he could have been sleeping in a cardboard box next to Randolph and Mortimer, the Duke/s a long time ago.
