Trump’s mental health: an interview with Bandy Lee, the psychiatrist who says WH officials called her for advice.
Last April, Dr. Bandy Lee, a Yale School of Medicine forensic psychiatrist, organized a conference called Duty to Warn about what she and some colleagues considered the necessity of alerting Americans to the threat posed by the mental health of Donald Trump. Out of this conference came a book put together by Lee: The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President.
Bandy Lee: So they called me, two separate phone calls, stating essentially the same thing: that they were scared of President Trump’s behavior and felt he was mentally unraveling.
++ the pot just keeps getting hotter:
President Trump’s declaration that “I don’t have an attorney general” was not merely the cry of an executive feeling betrayed by a subordinate.
It was also a raw expression of vulnerability and anger from a president who associates say increasingly believes he is unprotected — with the Russia investigation steamrolling ahead, anonymous administration officials seeking to undermine him and the specter of impeachment proceedings, should the Democrats retake the House on Nov. 6.

Behind the scenes, however, Trump is confronting broadsides from every direction — legal, political and personal.

The President is mentally unfit for the office of the Presidency. We all can see it, we watch him decline in real time. He has no real friends who can step in and intervene to help him.
