Caught in lie after lie in between looking as clueless as ever.

Trump threatens war with Iran on Saudi Arabia’s behalf.

My fear is that the Saudis themselves had the refineries attacked for the purpose of getting the US to go in an wipe out Iran.

In spite of the visual damage, oil production won't be affected much according to what I read.

Picking sides whether to support: The Shias or the Sunnies. Might be better if we didn't pick a sided at all!

Traitorous Trump apparently caught being a traitor. Don't expect any consequences as Trump has the government filled with his capos.

The whistleblower complaint that has triggered a tense showdown between the U.S. intelligence community and Congress involves President Trump’s communications with a foreign leader, according to two former U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

Trump’s interaction with the foreign leader included a “promise” that was regarded as so troubling that it prompted an official in the U.S. intelligence community to file a formal whistleblower complaint with the inspector general for the intelligence community, said the former officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

It was not immediately clear which foreign leader Trump was speaking with or what he pledged to deliver, but his direct involvement in the matter has not been previously disclosed. It raises new questions about the president’s handling of sensitive information and may further strain his relationship with U.S. spy agencies. One former official said the communication was a phone call.

===

Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson determined that the complaint was credible and troubling enough to be considered a matter of “urgent concern,” a legal threshold that ordinarily requires notification of congressional oversight committees.

But acting director of national intelligence Joseph Maguire has refused to share details about Trump’s alleged transgression with lawmakers, touching off a legal and political dispute that has spilled into public and prompted speculation that the spy chief is improperly protecting the president.

Shockingly, it turns out that President Trump appears to be directly implicatedin the remarkable tale of the mysterious whistleblower complaint that has yet to be transmitted to Congress, in direct violation of the law.

The new details emerging about Trump’s involvement in this story are damning on their own. But they also illustrate a broad theme of the Trump presidency: how his enablers keep wheeling the machinery of government into action to insulate his corruption from accountability.

As the whistleblower story gets worse for Trump, his corruption keeps spreading
Though he has broken every law and has destroyed so many institutions over the last 3 years he is still getting away with murder. He says and does whatever he wants and no one calls him to accountability.

His enablers allow him to obscure and obstruct. He is filling his pockets with money. He cannot be trusted to protect the nation and his fawning over murderous dictators and tyrants is condoned.

What will it take?

Trump has again done what he does best... what he's ALWAYS done even before the occupancy, when he was just a "business mogul" using his wealth, power, and influence to bilk many who've had the misfortune of dealing with him...

that is, escaping justice and undermining jurisprudence and rule of law by USING the system AGAINST ITSELF:

Because for SOME who are unscrupulous, unethical, and narcissistic enough, the "DEAL" is, for all practicality, only a hair's breath away from "the swindle" "the bribe" "the hush payment" "the payoff" and/or "the extortion."

For some presently unknown reason, Trump looses support of his base which causes him to loose control of the Republican Party.

I taught social studies.

One common thread in the fall of an empire is corruption. An empire is born with some kind of ideals. Those ideals may be diametrically opposed to Christianity. Nevertheless, there is a clear set of what is OK to do and what is not OK to do.

When an empire rises there is a clear set of principles that are expected from the young adults and continuing throughout life.

One of the expectations when an empire is beginning to rise is that the health of the young empire is paramount.

There is no greater honor than to die in battle for the nation that is becoming an empire.

Trump is being given credit for the disaster that has overtaken the United States. I don't agree.

The shape our nation is in falls at the feet of the Republican Party.

The present Republican Party began under Vice President Dick Chenny. The soul of the nation was sold for oil in Irag.

In 2010 the present leadership was in control of the Republican Party. This leadership was and still is aware that they will not be able to win elections in the future due to the changing make up of the population of the US. They managed to win in 2010 and took steps to remain in power,

A severe form of gerrymandering was put in place that would greatly increase the ability of the Republicans to loose elections, but still have their candidates be the winners.

The white precent of the population will drop below 50 % within 25 years. The percent of people who follow the white conservative viewpoint has already fallen below 50 %.

What has happened beginning in the years leading up to 2010 was a shift in what is most important among Republicans and Independents.

Two events from the 20th century show the stark difference between what was once considered the correct path to follow and what is the correct path to follow today.

In the early 1970s we had a president who needed to be impeached, convicted and removed from office, Richard Nixon. The Republican Party put the interests of the nation above the interests of the party. Richard Nixon resigned being president when a group of Republican senators went to see Nixon and let Nixon know that the votes to impeach and convict Nixon were there.

The opposition party, the Democrats did not have to be the ones to tell Nixon that he could resign or he could remain in office and be remooved from office.

Nixon's crimes in office were minor compared to Trump's.

Move forward a few years and Reagen was president. Reagen is often said to be the father of the modern Republican Party. Reagan and the Democrat Tip O'Neal saw how the nation should be governed from different viewpoints. The Democrats controlled both houses of Congress. Often, these two Irishmen would sit down and make compromises.

Obama is given credit for health care for all as a right. Only partly is this correct. It could be said that Ronald Reagan is the father of health care for all.

Tip O'Neal and Ronald Reagan worked out a compromise. Reagan accepted Neal's insistence to put guaranteed emergency health care in the emergecy rooms of hospitals across the US.

In both of the instances the belief of how this nation should be governed is very little different then than what it is now.

The main difference is the moral compass of the Republican Party.

Today's Republican Party doesn't give a damn about the ideals of the American Republic. Three groups are working together in the Republican Party. One group are the oligarchs who have as their goal to control the finances of the entire world. These oligarchs are American citizens.

Sadly, they don't give a rat's ass about the people the Americans. They have no more loyalty to the people called Americans than to the people in Vietnam. One reason for this is that these oligarchs have ZERO loyalty to anyone other than themselves.

Oligarchs do not have enough votes to elect their pawns as representatives, senators, and president.

There is another group that does not believe in democratic ideals and that group are what I was taught are the white racists who are heirs to the KKK. They are related to the Nazis. All Americans shouold be opposed to then. Some in this group would carry out mass murders like the Nazis did in the 30s and 40s.

The third group are also white. They are the white evangelical fundamentalist Christians. I learned from my father now gone that the word fundamentalist added to any worthy group destroys their ideals.

Some white people are loyal to both the Nazi viewpoint as well as the fundamentalist viewpoint.

I doubt there are many people that are a part of all three. This is a marrriage of three groups that follow the "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours."

Somehow Trump is able to relate to all three. As long as he is able to do what the leaders of these three groups want him to do, they don't give a rat's ass how he does it; just as long as he can and will do it.

To anwer your question as long as Trump can do what they want, there is no low out there. There is no sin to horrible that Trump can do that will result in Trump losing their support including continuous murder and contenuous theft.

As long as Trump is able to deliver what one, two, or all three groups want, it doesn't matter the age, the willingness, nor how much the person feels sexually assalted of the person that Trump wants to bed down with. These three groups who make up today's Republican Party don't care.

It makes no difference how low Trump goes, these groups will still support him.

In your mind, put the grossest and most sinful act that one man can do. Have Trump do it. Let whatever it is become public. Today's Republican Party only has one question. How will this affect Trump's ability to do what we want him to do? If the answer is that it will not have an affect, today's Republican Party's response is to, "Carry on! We don't' care what he has done or will do."

This is what happens when you sell your soul to the devil. In this case, Trump sold the entire nation's soul to the devil without getting our approval first.

It is going to take a lot of soul searching and asking forgiveness from those who have been harmed if we have chance to recover as a nation.

Yes. We can recover. What will it take? We desperately need to find that candidate that has the best chance to win and all of us unite to support this person as the Democratic nominee and all get out to vote.

The last thing we shoud be doing is destroying whomsever we nominte as the Democratic nominee for president during the primaries. We need strong candidates for all positions available. The number one thing we MUST do is vote in November 2020!

Sadly, they don't give a rat's ass about the people the Americans.

They care very much about their voters on Election Day then it's screw them and lets lick the boots of the rich until the next election. But as we see morality is transient. When in-groups feel threatened by out-groups all that matters is defeating that group. Morality, ideals and beliefs are the first to go. I don't have much hope for our species.

Why Republicans Play Dirty
They fear that if they stick to the rules, they will lose everything. Their behavior is a threat to democratic stability.
Summary:

American democracy faces a Catch-22: Republicans won’t abandon their white identity bunker strategy until they lose, but at the same time that strategy has made them so averse to losing they are willing to bend the rules to avoid this fate. There is no easy exit. Republican leaders must either stand up to their base and broaden their appeal or they must suffer an electoral thrashing so severe that they are compelled to do so.

Liberal democracy has historically required at least two competing parties committed to playing the democratic game, including one that typically represents conservative interests. But the commitment of America’s conservative party to this system is wavering, threatening our political system as a whole. Until Republicans learn to compete fairly in a diverse society, our democratic institutions will be imperiled.

He invited Russian help before and paid zero political or legal penalty why not Ukrainian help now? Welcome to the next phase of Republican do-anything-to-win strategy including compromising the country turning to foreign powers to win. Astonishing that he claims 'no collusion' in 2016 yet is openly trying to rig the election in 2020, using taxpayer money as a bribe, and he thinks this is perfectly okay.

President Trump declined to say Friday whether he had discussed Joe Biden or his family during a July phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that has drawn intense scrutiny, but he told reporters that “someone ought to look into” the former vice president.

Trump declines to say whether he discussed Joe Biden in call with Ukrainian president

As predicted, Donald Trump is engaging in his usual two-pronged defense of his actions—obfuscation and misdirection. Confronted about his efforts to extort Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in order to generate an investigation into Joe Biden, Trump had a series of absolutely stellar responses.

Did he actually talk to Zelensky on July 25? “I really don’t know,” replied Trump. But yes. He did. This is somewhat given away by the press release from the Ukrainian government noting their conversation that same day. What does Trump think about the whistleblower report? “I don’t know the identity of the whistleblower,” said Trump. Then he said this unknown person was “highly partisan.”

Trump makes it clear: 'It doesn’t matter what I discussed,' but someone should 'look into' Biden'

Andrew McCabe: Trump-Ukraine Story 'Incredibly Dangerous' | Law & Crime

"Fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who may or may not be indicted soon, joined CNN’s Jim Sciutto on Monday as a contributor and criticized both Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani’s “incredibly dangerous” attempt to get a foreign power, namely Ukraine, to investigate 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

McCabe began by saying he had never seen an “American political figure, much less the [w.h. occupant], pushing a foreign government, especially one that we have concerns about corruption issues within their own criminal justice establishment, pushing that foreign government to begin investigation of a U.S. citizen.”

He called this both “incredibly dangerous” and a “questionable practice,” and left open the possibility that soliciting this investigation may have run afoul of U.S. campaign law.

“As you know, the campaign laws are very clear that you cannot seek the assistance or accept any assistance or anything of value from a foreign national or a foreign government,” McCabe continued."

meanwhile...

Trump loses it in front of world's 'fake' media, rails about Biden deserving 'the electric chair'

"In a bilateral sitdown with Polish President Andrzej Duda, a sweating, red-faced Trump railed at the “fake media,” at Joe Biden and his son, and at the fake media again when asked about Ukraine and the intelligence whistleblower's allegations against him.

He ended by almost screaming at the press corps, "You're all crooked as hell."

"Joe Biden and his son are corrupt," he spewed. "But the fake news doesn't want to report it because they're Democrats. If a Republican ever did what Joe Biden did, if a Republican ever said what Joe Biden said, they'd be getting the electric chair by right now." The electric chair."

No, Donny, a Republican WOULDN'T.

He'd be LYING HIS ASS off every time he opened his yap, and fingerpointing the media,

while he continued to GET OFF SCOT FREE with violations of emoluments laws, profiting from the office, obstruction of justice, bribery and payoffs, undermining separation of powers, flaunting rule of law, sabotaging health coverage and the minority vote, demonizing Latinos and people of color, stoking hate and white supremacist notions, rolling back environmental protections, loving and cozying up to dictators, stealing from government coiffeurs to pay for a wall someone else was supposed to pay for, and playing a helluva lot of fkng GOLF at the expense of John Q. Public.

Does Donald Trump Want to Be Impeached?
Four reasons the president might welcome articles of impeachment.

Donald Trump vs. the United States of America
Just the facts, in 40 sentences.
The main reason Trump might want to be impeached is because Bill Clinton was impeached. Instead of ending Clinton's career, it gave life to it.

Donald's elevator may not go all the way to the top. However, Trump can count to 34. It will only take 34 Republican senators to vote against conviction and Trump gets of free as a bird.

It takes 2/3 of the Senate to convict a person that has been impeached. There are only 47 senators in the Democratic caucus. That means 20 Republicans would need to vote to find Trump guilty. Trump believes that the Democrats will not be able to find 20 Republican senators.

During the kangaroo court that is the US Senate if Trump is tried in the Senate, Trump knows how to direct the version of the story as told by Fox News. This story may be totally fiction, but Trump's base and the undecided very likely are to once again fall for Trump's version of the impeachment trial in the Senate.

Philosopher and Holocaust expert who literally wrote the book on evil: Trump fits the profile – Alternet.org

Elizabeth Preza, considered by some to be a philosopher and an expert on the holocaust who in this article compares Hitler and the Nazis to Donald Trump. Her first paragraph lays out her beliefs concerning Donald Trump

"I believe deeply that most people are better than their worst behaviors…. I also believe there are some who are simply irredeemable and evil. Scott Peck called them “People of the Lie.” They lack any conscience, as Trump does, and so they’re almost purely evil. Trump is the most purely evil human being I’ve ever met, and also the most insecure."

This author's article is giving evidence that, "Trump is the most purely evil human being I've ever met and also the most insecure."

This is a very harsh assessment of Donald Trump and is an assessment that I agree.
The author's first question needs answers.

I'm listing a few phrases and sentences from the article.

"Donald Trump meets every single criterion for using the word evil — and he keeps meeting it every day.

"The cruelty, the violence, the greed, the selfishness, the racism, the sexism, the nativism, the bigotry, the destruction, the lying, the assault on reality, the contempt for human dignity and civil rights, rejection of the rule of law and democracy, the summoning and mainstreaming of chaos and nihilism and a panoply of other social pathologies are more than the absence of good. They are evil.

Without a doubt this is the harshest opinion of Donald Trump I have ever read. This article's purpose was to define Trump and to explain how evil Trump is. The author did that. However, if I were In a formal debate, I would find more sources that gave more reasons and more examples of Trump's behavior to have enough evidence that Donald Trump is evil with no conscience so I would be certain to win a debate that Donald Trump is most evil leader in American history.

Furthermore, there is evidence that indicates that Trump would do as much evil as some horrible leaders have done in the past if Trump had the chance and he needed to do great evil so he could achieve his sinister goals at any specific point in time.
It was chilling to say the least when I read this article that indicates that the US might have a president who might be as evil as Hitler. If so, would Trump do as much evil as Hitler did if Trump got the chance?

The Democrats must come together and once the primaries are over, get behind whoever is the nominee. I'm not sure that the American democracy could survive another four years of Trump. It is imperative that we defeat Trump in 2020 so we never have to find out!
