The tubes was a band started in 1975 who have released a ton of albums since.

Song like "PrimeTime" and "She's a Beauty", but their most popular song was "White Punks on Dope." which was released in 1975 on their selftitled debut album.

    Anyone remember them?

Yes,I have the 'White Punks On Dope' 7" and the double live album from around 1977. I never got to see them play live though.

Surely their most popular song was "Talk To Ya Later". That is, if radio play and chart performance are any indication of popularity.

I don't take much notice of chart positions but when they're played on the radio here it's always "White Punks On Dope" "Don't Touch Me There" or "What Do You Want From Life?".

a friend of mine has suggested that "white punks on dope" should be the hilary clinton campaign song.
