I detest it. It is not something any self respecting straight man should ever get into. What about you?

Dig out that pair of halloween / vampire teeth and carry them along with you when you and your girlie / lady watch the movie / video. Then roll play demanding something naughty be done by her to YOU. We already know how to be wolves...

My sister-in-law lives, eat and breathes Twilight. She is 30 years old and is trying to move to the town in which this movie takes place. She will be relocating from Celebration, Florida where she moved to from the upper midwest so she could go to Disney Land all the time, without her kids.

    Nuts.

Patton Oswat described the movies as "stare porn". Having seen the first movie I laughed so hard I almost peed. Loved the first 2 books, thought some werewolves were going to eat Edward and take Bella away....Alas, it did not! The movies CAN"T do a good job, because most of the books are internal thoughts, and he can read minds. So I guess they thought they could communicate that by having them stare at each other all movie! :p So boring.

I don't think I could possibly express how much I can't stand Stephanie Meyer. She's an affront to my not-so-refined literary sensibilities.

I don't know much about Twilight, Im pretty sure it's about vampires.

I like the vampire stuff, its kinda hot. Buffy the vampire slayer that was good, so was Angel.

I'll never get into Twilight. I don't know anyone who has watched it or actually likes it.

Back when Anne Rice was writing The Vampire Chronicles, i was a huge fan. I was one of a handful of people my age reading them. I had all of her books in the collectable hardback, the lovely Encyclopedia of Vampires by Catherine Ramsland, posters, etc.

Interview with the Vampire was an adult movie, not a teen or tween type movie. So i look back on my teen years and i think our stuff was more mature and less teen soap opera-ish.

I even had my vampire cape i wore to school and got grief for LOL But i was not a Goth. My parents would have killed me for that. I used to sneak my cape into my bag for school, they had no idea. They laugh hysterically at me now when i tell them about it.

Anyway, I don't get the appeal to the parents of the teenagers and even my mom who is a grandma of the teenagers reading this series. It's weird.

Yay! I loved dress up at school as well! I wore vampire capes then, and it's just matured into short stylish wool capes in the winter. I couldn't give them up completely!

I like most vampire movies...even Twilight, well enough to go see it. I Like True Blood MUCH better and the Underworld series. But hey... Any movie about a teenage girl struggling between Beastiality and necrophilia, and the consequences of either decision she makes, can't be all that bad. :)

Ok...just got back from the Eclipse movie... It was REALLY good actually. Much better than the first two. Lots more action. Definitely worth seeing.

OMG I cannot wait! I'm going to see it today with my friend and her son and one of the guys she has been seeing! I'm so excited. I loved the books. The two previous movies have not been as good as the books, but I'm still looking forward to seeing it. I love vampire movies!:biggrin1:

There's a group on Facebook that says 'In My Day, Vampires Sucked Blood, Not Cock'.

How is this relevant to Twilight... I'll leave it to you

I had an ex girlfriend that is now REALLY into that crap.

Needless to say she isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. These dumb girls are living out their fantasies through these stories.
