Outside of this thread most of the posts on LPSG that mention the word "gym" are about creepy behavior.
LOL....made me chuckle....This web site is named Large Penis Support Group and you're calling someone else's peccadilloes creepy?
Why not just cut through the BS and go with this: everything that is not a male having sex with a female in the prescribed missionary position is creepy.

Uh oh... I say something like this. Never thought of it as douchey... just thought is was a nice way to cut the tension of having to get that close to someone to get my stuff out of the locker.I'm getting sick of hearing this.
I get done with my workout and someone is using the locker right next to mine.
Then they say, "Murphys law, whadda ya gonna do?".
Fuck you! As if you were the first person to ever say that.
It's not clever you douche!

Do you understand what "unwanted" means? How about "consent"? What two or more *consenting* adults do is their business. Have at it, I support any and all sex that doesn't damage someone. But you seem to imply that anyone deemed a target of attention is supposed to just do what? Ignore it? Be okay with it? Just accept that they need to change *their* feelings to accommodate some stranger's desire? This web site is named Large Penis Support Group and you're calling someone else's peccadilloes creepy?

Just ran across this thread and for all the guys bothered by gym creeps, now you know how women feel pretty much all day every day due to unwanted attention from men. I used to work with a guy who I had been told was straight but who I thought had a great ass. Our company threw an after-work event (Cirque du Soleil) and I ended up sitting next to him during the pre-show dinner. They were serving alcohol (which I should always steer clear of), we were both drinking, and I ended up hitting on him about as hard as I have ever hit on anyone. No success, but I noticed he seemed to be avoiding me at work after that. A female co-worker who had seen me putting the moves on him later told me that he had a reputation for sexually harassing women in his department (he was a supervisor) and that someone had finally reported him to HR. She thought the entire thing was hilarious as it was clear to her that the shoe was on the other foot for once and he didn't like it one bit.
So I'm a recovering gym creep. I can remember being as young as 6 or 7 and getting this insane adrenaline rush from discreetly checking out guys. I had my first sexual experience in a sauna at age 15 with guys more than twice my age, and many more sauna/locker room experiences after that. I always tried to be very discreet about it, and was careful to make sure the cruising was subtle and mutual. Thankfully, I got most of it out of me when I backpacked through Europe and discovered the "anything goes" mentality in bathrooms and lockerooms. However, when I came back to America, I started to see things from the guy's perspective and how I've been extremely uncomfortable being flirted with and hit on when I'm clothed, I can't imagine having that same discomfort when I'm naked.
Side note: I did visit a YMCA in Charlotte, NC recently and there were people jerking off in the sauna and steam rooms at any given moment, usually multiple guys. And handjobs blowjobs etc. It was clear staff turned a blind eye to it.
Witnessed a creeper checking out a younger guy in the locker room at my gym recently and I automatically thought of this thread. The younger guy was naked as a jaybird drying himself off (which is out of the ordinary for his age group, but who cares) This dude just sat there like a statue staring, filling his spank bank with material. I closed my locker to leave for the workout when I noticed they made eye contact. The kid was visibly uncomfortable with the situation so I walked over to statue man and asked him about his headphones to break his concentration. You can always admire someone's beauty briefly be it male or female. But don't just sit there and stare. Not Cool.
Guys that act like that are what scares off younger guys from getting naked in the locker room. Young guys are usually insecure about themselves, so they are hesitant to call older guys out on this behavior.
I stopped going to gyms almost 25 years ago because of all the unwanted attention received. When I'm working out I have zero interested in socializing and just want to get in shape and burn calories. With that being said I built my own home gym that I use when not hiking playing, tennis, or basketball.
